Friday the 13th was an older movie It was sent to us by the film company and they sent us a hard drive that wasn't formatted for our projector The video played but the audio wouldn't We started to play Blade runner We found a DVD of Friday the 13th to match the audio We asked everyone if they wanted to watch Friday the 13th and they said yes They watched Friday the 13th and then finished Blade Runner We have a sign that says no refunds We were very disappointed that this situation happened I will give him a refund He can come in and I will have them refund him at the box office I'll write him a check The only way he will not receive a refund is if he was kicked out for bringing in outside food or beverage

I am rejecting this response because: The Chief Drive In owners version of events is not true in the slightest. They started Friday the 13th and it wasn't working properly. They started it over and over and over and it never worked properly. They did start BLADE RUNNER and let it play for maybe 30 minutes and then started playing Friday the 13th again which DID NOT WORK. They had a post on their Facebook page about how they received a bad copy of the film. It was said to come in to the concession stand to speak to the owner about a refund. This is where the real problems started. I went in and asked about a refund and she went to the back, never coming back. The other person I was with then went in and was met with the same situation. We then went in together and as soon as we walked in they didn't even allow us to get a word out before running and hiding. I posted to their refund comment on their Facebook that I wanted to know why they were not making the situation right when they clearly said to come in and talk to them. They deleted my comment. I posted another comment asking them why they were being dishonest and not making things right with their customers and they blocked me from their page. (I have the screenshot saved on my phone.) They must not know of the Consumer Rights Act 2015 that allows me rights by law that the service provider cannot change. They did not provide fair services for what was purchased. The film never worked. They kept re-starting it over and over. I have read some experiences others have had with the owners being volatile with them so we will not be going there in person.Personal safety for ourselves is of the utmost concern. They can mail me my refund.
