On December 12/14/*** *** came into Chiefs Jewelers to get her ring sized. She left the ring with us which was sized the same day. She was called on 12/14/within an hour to advise her that her ring was complete and ready for pick upShe returned on 12/15/to get
her ring. She paid the $charge. The ring fit perfectly and she left. She seemed very happy with the job. She returned on December 15th later in the day in the afternoon and noticed she has lost a stone out of her ring. The Jewelers replaced the stone for her while she waited at no additional charge. Even though sizing the ring would have nothing to do with a stone coming loose in the ring. We then received a phone call from her Father on 12/15/around 3:00pm stating that she did not like the Diamond we replaced for her. She was told to bring it back and we would put a different Diamond in for her. Then we received two very vulgar insulting phone calls Cursing from her Fiance. He accused us of putting a fake diamond in the ring cursing and calling us bad names.They retunred again after that on December 16th We were prepared to replace the Diamond she did not like without any charge or question. Her Fiance started insulting the Jewelers Cursing and Yelling saying we changed the stones in the ring and replaced them with fake stones We would NEVER do such a thing.Her Fiance was threatening and aggressive. The Police had to be called to contain his disturbanceWe have witnesses to this. Her ring is of 18K pink gold which is a very soft metal. We see problems with rings like this quite often. There were no bubbles in the shank. The ring was sized exactly like it should have been going from such a large size to a size 4.75. The diamond falling out has nothing to do with the sizing. Still we replaced the stone at no additional charge. When they were not happy with that stone we were willing to replace it with another stone
We were very willing to resolve any issues this customer had However when they came to store their cursing, threats and aggressive behavior made it impossible We even gave the Warwick Police two diamonds for them to take with them as with them to use to replace the stone that the Customer lost in her ringEven though sizing her ring had nothing to do with her Stone falling out The ring sizing was done perfectly These two Diamonds were tested on the Diamond Tester in front of the Warwick Police The accusations in this complaint are not accurate.Chiefs had always pleasedall their customers We have two Master Jewelers with over Years experperience We will refund the $paid for the ring sizing at our store only.Thank you

If the ring sizing was done perfectly, then why was my ring oval shaped instead of round? Why was yellow gold used on a rose gold band and why was it thinner where the ring resizing was done? There was no cursing or threats made as I filmed the entire conversationIn fact we were threatened and sworn at by an affiliate of the store for not getting out of the parking lot fast enough The police told the affiliate to go inside immediatelyMy fiancé just demanded the issues be resolvedI should not of had to pay an additional $dollars for a simple ring resizingThe one diamond given to the police was not in fact real nor was the one put in the ringMy ring is still not perfect and it’s all because of my experience at chiefs discount jewlers.

I am sorry, but that is not a justified responseIt cost me and addictions $to have the entire band and diamond replacedBoth “diamonds” given to us were not real, close to the same quality, or even the same cutThere were in fact bubbles on the ring as I was shown by another jeweler and again, yellow gold was used on a rose gold bandAll together a simple ring resizing cost me close to $and the emotional distress I had to deal with was beyond wordsMy fiancé worked very hard to get me the ring of my dreams and I couldn’t even look at it after the hack job that was done by chiefsI’ve attached pictures of the misshapen band, where it was thinner, and the mismatched “diamond” they replace it with.
