*** *** *** told me the first time that he was going to put a motor with 80,miles on it, in my truckHe gave me the guarantee that my truck would be in "perfect condition"If he had not given me the guarantee I would had not left my truck under his careSince I took my truck to him I have not been able to pass my vehicle inspection in the truck, and therefore I cannot drive my truckI think someone is lying because the oxygen sensors are not connected and I noticed a few other things were wrongFor example the motor pulley is thinner compare to the other pulleys and consequently I had to put a different belt that is thinnerI paid for a service that from the beginning was not done right, that is why I am asking for the money I spent and for the cost of my air compressor - the owner said that he would fit it "later"My truck was making noise from the beginning and the owner said the reason for that was because the motor had been sitting out and not being used, and he said the sounds it was making would go away with time/usageIf you would like I can include audio of the sounds my truck is making and pictures of the disconnected sensors

***They gave me my truck back on 7/28/and I noticed it was making a lot of noise and shaking while I drove and even when the truck was at a stop, but I wanted to give it more time to see if the problem were caused by the motor not being used recently. Two weeks later I took my truck back to *** *** *** and they told me “not to worry” and that they would fix it, but even after they worked on it the second time the truck/motor continued to have problems: truck continues to shake, motor is loud, and there is a delay in responding - mostly when the truck is trying to pick up speedI contacted them again one week later and they told me they didn't have a mechanic and that they would call me backA week passed by and I called them again, and again they told me they did not have a mechanicI called them a third time, and again they did not have a mechanic. They deliberately allowed the time to pass so the guarantee would expireThe receipt I have has in writing that the guarantee is for months, not days. I don't think it is fair that they sold me a motor that is incompatibleJust because I drove to *** from *** does not mean that they did the job right or that the motor is combatibleThey did enough to make it look good but the truck is not in good conditionThe motor is being forced, you can see that not all the wires have a place to be connected to (therefore they are just there disconnected), and for the same reasons the truck was unable to pass inspection. With respect to the air conditioner, I imagine they had to remove it to be able to take off and on the motor, and when they put the air conditioner back they did not do it correctlyThey were aware of all the problem the truck had before they took the jobIt is my opinion that they have deceived/defraud other clients with similar situationsYou can see with plain sight that there are wires that are not connected, if the motor was compatible wouldn't all the wires fit it? And the pulley that fits the motor is really different from the pulley size my truck has always used and the other pulleysI spoke with a different mechanic and he is telling me that the motor is not compatible. From the beginning *** *** *** gave me a guarantee to fix my truck where it would work 100% correctlyHad I known they were not going to fix it correctly and not honor their commitment, I would have not left my truck with themI don't think I am the first or will be the last unsatisfied customerThey should honor their word when they guarantee their work, or just not tell customers that they have a guarantee. Included are pictures of the receipt where it states months, a video of the sound, and cords that are not connected

Responding to claim made by [redacted]: He had his truck towed to our shop, [redacted], for us to remove and replace motor. We sold him a compatible 5.4 motor that came off of 98 Expedition. We did the work and he drove it home. Weeks later he complained that he had no power. We sent a...

tow truck to take it back to the shop and check the issue. We had a mechanic fix the plugs and wires due to plugged exhaust. The problem was fixed. We tried to collect for parts and labor at this time (not covered by remove & replace). He refused to pay and we let him have the truck back at no charge. Weeks later another claim was made to us that his air conditioning was not working, but we did not touch the A/C at time of repairs. We did not sell a 2004 5.4 because it is not compatible with his 1997 Ford PK. (Only 2002 and down are compatible). He spent a total of 1400 with us and went above and beyond to try to help even when he refused to pay for some of the service. As far as the tow hitch and ball, we are not responsible for any lost or stolen items. We were not aware if he had these parts attached to his truck, but we offered him to pick them out from our inventory. Any questions or concerns please feel free to give me a call [redacted]   Sincerely, [redacted]
