[To assist us in bringing this matter to a close, you must give us a reason why you are rejecting the responseIf no reason is received your complaint will be closed Administratively Resolved] Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: [redacted] 1:PM (hours ago) tome Hello [redacted] ***,I received the response from the business, however, I was told that it would take weeks to receive my glasses, I ended up getting my glasses from [redacted] Eye [redacted] in [redacted] , MD and it only took to days and I received the glasses, I WAS NEVER TOLD BY CHIKA EYE [redacted] THAT I HAD TO WAIT UNTIL THE NEXT MONTH TO GET MY GLASSES, NOR WAS I TOLD THAT BY [redacted] EYE *** Chika is only trying to not be at fault for not promptly getting my glasses to me The first day for my appointment they were minutes late opening and acted as if I was the one at fault The technician told me it would take weeks for me to receive my glasses and that was all they told me This was in April as I can remeber The company (Chika Eye ***) is merely trying to get out of not promptly delivering eyegasses as promised Thank you, [redacted] Regards, [redacted] ***

Re: Customer Complaint: This is a response to the complaint by one of my patients, [redacted] who presented with a couple of vision problems on May 6, 2014 and needed a prescription eyeglasses which  were promptly ordered the same day, See attached Lab, Order form identified as #1...

evidence.[redacted] has [redacted] vision insurance which designates that their patient's eyewear to be crafted by their own laboratory. As a rule, we notify all patients the turn-around time to expect their eyewear to return from the optical laboratories. This is usually 2 to 3 weeks with exception of [redacted] vision that takes 4-5 weeks. [redacted] was appropriately informed that she should expect her eye glass on or around June 6, 2014 given that she has [redacted] vision insurance.  [redacted] had no objection to this and made her payment using [redacted] Credit. Exactly two weeks after her office visit ,[redacted] called Chika Eye Care asking for her eyeglass.  She was reminded that it takes [redacted] Vision at least 4 weeks to have their patient's eyeglasses ready.
On June 9, 2014 Chika Eye Care received [redacted]'s prescription eye glasses from March Vision Lab. See March vision (Select Optical) Invoice slip with "shipped June 5, 2014" stamp from the lab,, This is evidence #2. She was notified via the phone that her glasses were ready for pickup during which time she said she was no longer Interested in picking the glasses. "Chika called me on June 6, 2014 and told me my glasses were there I told them I didn't want them cause it took too long to get them..."
According to her complaint, [redacted] claimed to have visited Chika Eye Care on 4/28/2014,[redacted] visited Chika Eye Care on 5/6/2014 as evidenced by: 
1. EYE GLASSES/CONTACT LENS PICK UP DISCLAIMER form she signed on 5/6/2014
2. NOTICE OF PRIVACY PRACTICES FORM she signed on 5/6/4014
3. STATEMENT OF CHARGES AND PAYMENTS( We even gave her 30% off frame)4. EXAM.RECORDS.With date of clinic visit as 5/6/14.
Also, [redacted] claims that on the day she had her exam, her appointment was for 0800 hrs and no one was there until 0815hrs.Chika Eye Care Office hours has never been that early. Our Office hours are as follows:
Mon, Tues, Weds.,10am to 5pm Thurs and Fri.,10am to 7pm
Sat ,10am to 3pmPlease visit our websites at WWW.CHIKAEYECARE.COM or WWW.[redacted].COM to verify our office ours. Chika Eye Care is not responsible for [redacted]'s choice as far as insurance is concerned. If her insurance gave Clinicians the flexibility to choose the Optical laboratory, perhaps we would have as matter of urgency, sent her prescription to optical laboratory that takes 2-3weeks to craft and return eyeglasses. It is clear from the many discrepancies starting with the dates and times she said she visited our Office, as well as the length of time it takes her insurance company's lab. to craft the glasses,that [redacted] is confused about a lot of things.[redacted] may have had buyer's remorse perhaps after shopping around and was asked to pay $278.60 at [redacted] instead of the $295 she charged into her [redacted] Credit at Chika Eye Care. Please note that She quoted the name of the sales person at [redacted] but did not disclose the date of her office visit to Weinstein.  Her total charge at Chika Eye Care was $150.00At Chika Eye Care we take seriously the health of our patients particularly as it relates to optical care. We go the extra mile to ensure that we deliver the best care. It is unfortunate that [redacted] feels she reserves the right to walk into an Eye care office request for treatment and turn around after months of receiving excellent care,want the office to discard a medical aid that is individualized.
We look forward to serving [redacted] any time she needs care. However, Chika Eye Care is not at liberty to refund the amount she paid for her eye glasses.Sincerely,Nwabufo OChika Eye Care

Hello [redacted],I received the response from the business, however, I was told that it would take 2 weeks to receive my glasses, I ended up getting my glasses from [redacted] Eye [redacted] in [redacted], MD and it only took 10 to 14 days and I received the glasses, I WAS NEVER TOLD BY CHIKA EYE [redacted] THAT I HAD TO WAIT UNTIL THE NEXT MONTH TO GET MY GLASSES, NOR WAS I TOLD THAT BY [redacted] EYE [redacted].  Chika is only trying to not be at fault for not promptly getting my glasses to me.  The first day for my appointment they were 20 minutes late opening and acted as if I was the one at fault.  The technician told me it would take 2 weeks for me to receive my glasses and that was all they told me.  This was in April as I can remeber.  The company (Chika Eye [redacted]) is merely trying to get out of not promptly delivering eyegasses as promised.
