Chilcutt's Memphis Mixed Martial Arts

You couldn't ask for a better training experience. Class size isn't overwhelming and my teammates are great.
I had gained a considerable amount of weight since I had to stop 6 years ago due to an injury (Not JiuJitsu related). Since training with Chad and my teammates I have lost 35 lbs and my energy levels are increasing everyday. Now mind you I have only been back training for almost 2 months.I know it's hard to believe but you have my word this is true.
You will not find people with egos bigger than Cadillacs here. All of the belts there have been extremely helpful and encouraging. Chad has a real talent for instruction and explains techniques in detail before you ever drill them. If there's not a brown belt helping the students, Chad himself will watch and come over to help with the details of the technique in case you don't understand it.
I was extremely intimidated to hit the mats again after all that time out, but the Chilcutt's Memphis Mixed Martial Arts family helped me feel right at home. I was looking for a Martial Arts gym for my son when I visited Chilcutts. I tried every sport but my son was only interested in playing video games. After visiting a few gyms I decided to stop by Chilcutts on a Saturday Morning! Within 2 minutes of entering the gym, Chad Chilcutt the owner introduced himself and within 5 minutes Chad had my son in a GI and on the matt exercising! I was shocked how fast Chad had accomplished getting my son into Mixed Martial Arts. My son now has a Yellow belt and won two first place trophies in a Sparring and Grappling competition! He has made many new friends and loves to go to class! Chad has a special gift of teaching and dealing with Children and Adults I soon joined the adult class and after 3 months lost 20 lbs!
