The first time the company was sent out it was the technician's last day and he clearly had that in mind when "fixing" things. He put freon in our system and instructed us to not run the system for 48 hours. Needless to say, this was not even close to the issue. The second set of technicians came out, very nice men. Seemed like they were fixing things, but alas, no cold air. We called again, on a Wednesday, first thing in the morning. We were called back and told that no one could help us until the following Monday! After not fixing things TWICE they were choosing to not amend their errors and have us continue with no AC for 6 more days?!? I would never choose a company that doesn't stand behind their work. There are enough AC companies in AZ that no one should put us with this service!

I have an old AC unit. Child's came out to see the unit, it was actually the one inside the house, I guess it is called the Evaporative Cooling coil. Anyway the drip pan's were rusted as was the coil. Since this was through a Home Warranty program I had to have several opinions and after a month waiting, having 2 more opinions I waited at home for the unit to be fixed. The company arrived, not Child's by the way, and they said that they needed to cut beams, support, etc and had to have a contractor involved.

Child's came back again and took a look and they scheduled the work. Alfonso and Dennis spent 12 hours working on the unit and of course I asked lots of questions. They were efficient, happy, and the only thing they asked me for was ice, I gladly gave them. I asked why other companies had told me that they had to cut beams, the roof and made a bigger deal out of it then they did. Dennis told me that it was a difficult install, there was very little room and the unit had to be taken apart and reassembled in the attic. So, I asked...are you saying that what was required was "expertise"...he smiled, dropped his head and said...pretty much that is it.

There were 3 other companies that looked at this unit and the original company was Child's. The other companies made a bigger deal out of this then Dennis and Alfonso and at the end of the day the work was done. They arrived on time, I had to take my daughter to school, told them I could not be home till 8:30 and they arrived just as I did. They did a good job, never complained and answered all my questions and they and I were happy when it was complete.

I would recommend this company to anyone at anytime. They did a good job and made me feel satisfied that they had done the best that they could.
