Despite cancelling my service, Child ID continues to debit my account.
The salesman told me he had permission from the office of the building to ask tenants if they were interested in his services. He never had permission from the office to be here. He was persistent and I was very uncomfortable, I asked him to leave his information so I could contact him at a later date but he refused. I gave him a void check to get him to go, and planned to call and cancel the service right away. I called the hotline and the woman who answered said I had to send an email to have the service cancelled which I did. I never received confirmation of the cancellation, so I set up a stop payment on my account to be safe. Child ID is still trying to debit my account. After the most recent stop payment, I was contacted by a man named [redacted], claiming that my Aunt who lives in Alberta wanted to add me to her insurance plan. Towards the end of the conversation he mentioned a child id package being included with this insurance. I told him I would contact her and get back to him but my Aunt had no idea who this person was.
I want them to stop debiting my account so I don't have to close it and reopen an entire new one.
