Child ID Kits Reviews (2)

We are very appreciative to the Cocopah Indian Tribe for their generosityWe did in fact distribute 1,child identification/safety kits in Fall that featured the Cocopah Tribe logo to local Yuma children and
familiesThe schools we reached out to eventually declined to participate in the distribution, so alternatively, and in an effort to make certain that the kits made it into the hands of local Yuma area children and parents who would make the best use of the donation, the kits were distributed at two separate locations and timesThe first distribution was at the Children's Festival of the Arts on Saturday November 2, 2013, where free ID kits were handed out to local familiesThe second distribution was at the Arizona Marketplace on Sunday November 3, where free ID kits were handed out to local familiesFamilies were very grateful for the valuable resource they received and it was a very successful distribution that truly helped more than a thousand Yuma area familiesThe Cocopah Tribe was featured on the front cover of each kit, maximizing and promoting the visibiity of the Tribe and its extremely generous contribution to the safety and welfare of children in the communityThe additional kits for Tribal youth were to have been shipped directly to the Tribe back in November I apologize that they have yet to reach the Tribe and will personally make certain those extra kits are delivered to the Tribe no later than May 1, I am truly sorry that this matter had to be escalated to a complaint and would like you to know that we are 100% committed to helping promote the safety of children and would never misuse the generosity of a sponsor

Review: In June of 2013 our organization gave $2,500 to this business below. Child ID Kits, LLC1104 Impressionist Loop Roseville, CA 95747The company send us a sponsorship request asking for the money to print Child ID Kits which would be distributed to more than 1,000 students at the Yuma Elementary School District One. They also said they would send kits for the tribe's children. Months later, we have yet to receive any kits. I called the school district and they have not heard anything about this before and never received the kits. If I call the number provided to us and on the website it goes straight to voicemail. Emails have an automatic reply. I feel this company is a scam. I looked up the address they provided and its a home address (according to google maps). I can provide you with the emails between me and the Executive Director and a copy of check sent.Desired Settlement: This company did not print the Child ID kits for local children which is what The Tribe's sponsorship money was for so, we expect that money to be returned. The Tribe is very generous and donates money to help the community. This money can go to a much more deserving organization.

Response:

We are very appreciative to the Cocopah Indian Tribe for their generosity. We did in fact distribute 1,000 child identification/safety kits in Fall 2013 that featured the Cocopah Tribe logo to local Yuma children and families. The schools we reached out to eventually declined to participate in the distribution, so alternatively, and in an effort to make certain that the kits made it into the hands of local Yuma area children and parents who would make the best use of the donation, the kits were distributed at two separate locations and times. The first distribution was at the Children's Festival of the Arts on Saturday November 2, 2013, where 400 free ID kits were handed out to local families. The second distribution was at the Arizona Marketplace on Sunday November 3, 2013 where 700 free ID kits were handed out to local families. Families were very grateful for the valuable resource they received and it was a very successful distribution that truly helped more than a thousand Yuma area families. The Cocopah Tribe was featured on the front cover of each kit, maximizing and promoting the visibiity of the Tribe and its extremely generous contribution to the safety and welfare of children in the community. The additional kits for Tribal youth were to have been shipped directly to the Tribe back in November 2013. I apologize that they have yet to reach the Tribe and will personally make certain those extra 100 kits are delivered to the Tribe no later than May 1, 2014. I am truly sorry that this matter had to be escalated to a complaint and would like you to know that we are 100% committed to helping promote the safety of children and would never misuse the generosity of a sponsor.
