Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because:Again, this business is lyingWe were TOLD we would be prorated by one of the directors while the other felt later on they weren't going toWhy would we ever pay for service we didn't receive prior to us even enrolling? On top of that, we never received a calendar so we had no idea they would be closed for nearly two weeks in May that we'd be held accountable for on top of finding and paying for other arrangementsThe director acknowledged they had not given us a calendar when giving us the info packet and said they would need to print more offWe were never informed of the additional closing until after we had startedOnce we were filled in that we would have to pay for time we weren't even enrolled, and then additional time for additional closures we were never informed of, we decided it wasn't a good fit, and my husband told them thisHOWEVER, they threatened us and told us we would HAVE to pay for the following month even if our kids weren't there because we have to give thirty days notice, so we may as well leave them in and they'd see what they could do about proratingWhat kind of business does this? I cannot state it enough, we had NO IDEA we'd be paying for time BEFORE WE EVEN ENROLLED, and then additional time when they decided they would be closed, which we had no idea aboutWe would have NEVER enrolled at this school house of horrors if we'd had any idea what we were getting intoThe financial aspect is ONLY one aspect of the problems encountered at this schoolNo business should run like this, periodTaking advantage of a young family is just wrongMy husband was paying them for the extra fees because they kept calling and harassing usAgain, we have paid for services we didn't receive, periodWe need to be reimbursed for the time we had to pay for that our children weren't there Regards, [redacted]

I'm responding to the complaint submitted By *** *** in regards to the financial situation she felt my business put her in I invite all concerned to go to our website, *** to see the forms that are required by all families who choose our center for their children
There is a "Tuition Account Agreement" that MUST be signed upon registering their child that CLEARLY states our school calendar with the days off We follow the *** school calendar and make sure that all our families are fully aware of our schedule In the years of Operation, We have NEVER encountered a disgruntled Family that has ever complained or felt cheated by our Tuition policy We also were extremely willing to help this particular family out by accepting partial tuition payments every month due to their financial situationI also dealt with *** ***'s husband who was very grateful and NEVER expressed any of what was described in this complaint In fact *** *** was still paying partial payments to us from a balance due to us over a years time Apparently none of this was ever shared with his wife so when she found out is when she decided to slam us with this awful complaint.Please feel free to contact me with any more information needed to clear our name and continu the great reputation that Child's Way has upheld for years
