In October 2019 I hired "Dr Darlene S Educational Psychologist" to do a full Psycho-Educational Evaluation for the purposes of diagnosing learning, behavioral, and psychiatric disorders (per our written contract). She stored my credit card in Ivy pay, and charged me a $200 booking fee for each of my children's appointments. I was told testing would take all day for each child, but it took 1/2 that time. Per my contract the data was to analyzed, and a report written, then I would meet with Dr S to discuss the results and receive the report. When I arrived for the results meeting I was charged $500 to my stored card before I even sat down. There were no reports available, just talking. I had a Doctors appointment that I required reports and a memo for. I spent weeks calling and e-mailing "Dr S." I didn't hear from her until filing a credit card dispute. She claimed a medical emergency had delayed reports/memos. Over two months after testing I filed another credit card dispute against her. Suddenly I received an extremely threatening e-mail, and a brief report for 1 of 2 children. This report did not match the findings of our school psychologist or independent speech therapist. It also did not contain the tests and data that would be expected in a neuropsychology report. After having several specialists review the report I dug deeper. I have confirmed with the registrar at the University of Iowa that Dr S did not complete her degree at their university and is no longer enrolled in as a doctoral candidate. I have filed a complaint with the Attorney General, the WA State Health Department against her counseling certificate, notified the school psychologist board of WA, and Iowa state university. She is falsely advertising her credentials and capability to diagnose. In addition, she has placed fraudulent charges to my stored credit card, lied to me in person and in writing, and violated the terms of our service contract. Not another family should have to go through this experience.
