Review: My wife and I decided to switch Doctors due to some comments that were made by one of the doctors at Childern's Choice that were uncalled for, and totally unprofessional. It has been several months since I requested to have her files sent to another clinic and nothing has been sent as of yet. However you want to feel about me or my wife is one thing, do not mess with my daughter's health care.Desired Settlement: Send the needed information to the other doctors office ASAP. I will call Children's Choice Monday morning at 9:30am

We are certainly sorry to hear that any of our patients are unhappy about any aspect ofthe service we provide at Childrens Choice. Our Physicians strive to give the ultimatecare to their patients and try to address any and all concerns of parents to the best of theirability.This is in reference to Revdex.com case # [redacted].This child presented to our office on October 10,2014 with an oral temperature of 100.6,there were no other symptoms at all; the mother stated that the temperature had gotten upto 100.8 the previous night. The child was seen by one of our board certifiedpediatricians who completed a thorough examination as well as a streptococccus test withnegative results. Our physicians do not administer prescriptions for antibiotics without awell deserved reason or diagnosis and we feel that the parent may not have completelyunderstood the reasoning concerning that issue...hence, the complaint. There wereabsolutely no rude remarks that indicated any type of unprofessionalism at all.The noted complaint also mentions the fact that our office received a request for medicalrecords that were not sent to another clinic in a timely manner; in fact the complaintnotes that records were requested SEVERAL MONTHS ago.Childrens Choice received records request from the other clinic on 11/3/2014 and thatrequest had been signed by the parent on 10/30/14. Childrens Choice copied and mailedthose records on 11/06/2014; by certified mail, the medical release and USPS trackinginformation is enclosed. . .the records were received by the other clinic on 11/08/2014.Our Physicians regret that there was a misunderstanding in communication in thetreatment of this child but wish the family well.The Physicians and staff at Childrens Choice are devoted to providing quality healthcareand will continue to do so in the future.Sincerely,[redacted] Practice Mgr.Childrens Choice
