I was contacted by the complainant regarding this matter and I responded immediately via email to update her on the situationUnfortunately, I was transferred from the *** last year and a new *** took over who still currently has a waiting list and therefore, there is still no space at the
center for a child under the age of monthsThe new *** was informing those families waiting only if a spot openedI apologized for notifications not being sent regarding the new center opening as she was told when visiting with meAs of July a new *** took over the *** location and I left in September We hoped for the new center in the *** to open soon after the complainant visited, but unfortunately we are still waiting for the new center to openI have also sent the letter received via usps mail to the corporate office regarding the complainant's request for the return of her "deposit"In the em ail I wrote to the complainant I did explain she paid a registration feeThe registration fee does hold a spot until the child begins and then a deposit is requiredUsually only a deposit is refundable and not a registration feeI will request the corporate office to refund her the registration fee, but I do not make those decisionsI have been civil with this complainant as soon as she contacted me I investigated this situationI tried to work with the current *** to see if we can move children around or see if her daughter would like to start in another classroomI also wished her the best as it seemed she made her decisionThis was an unfortunate circumstance and I promise anything that was my responsibility as a *** I handled professionally and have never taken anyone's money and made a profit as I am accused of

I have been trying to get my deposit back from this companyI was assured verbally that the deposit checks would be mailed the last week of school prior to the school closing its doors and giving parents less than week to find childcare.The company closed its Stamford location on November 30th, I have spoken to other parents as well and they had to threaten the company with their attorneys in order to get their deposits backI still have not received my deposit backI am owed $1,I am very disappointed and appalled by this compares practices
The deposit checks were the below:
10/13/Check # *** for $was towards the deposit
10/21/Check# *** for $was towards the deposit
11/15/Check #*** for $was towards the deposit (it clearly states partial deposit)
11/15/Check #*** fro $was towards the deposit (it clearly states partial deposit)
1/4/Check #*** for $was towards the deposit
