Children's Advantage

Review: The company's owner, [redacted] is a consultant for educational services. Hosted a camp named "Rising Sunshine Daycamp." The camp was supposed to go on from July *, 2013 to August **, 2013 but after a week, he cancelled the camp because not enough children were attending and without any prior notice. I paid in full ahead of time for a discount for $845 instead of paying $120 weekly. I never received my entire refund, it's been over two months and I am owed $330. I have been told I will receive cash, a money order by mail and I haven't received anything in over 6 weeks. I have money orders and receipts indicating I paid in full and have texts to prove I haven't received all of my money.Desired Settlement: A money order of $330 for my final refund for services that were not provided.

My apologies for not being able to email sooner. I was able to make a screenshot of the texts that I described over the phone. [redacted] of Children's Advantage texted me on September [redacted]h, telling me that he will pay the balance the following Thursday with an apology. However, he didn't call or text or even mail me to pay the final balance. He has received my address before. I also had text again the following Monday (Sept. **th) to see what happened and I had not received a single contact since his Sept. [redacted]h text.

This is very typical and the sort of response I have received in the last 3 months. I also attached a screenshot of texts I sent before I filed the complaint. He'll respond, say he'll pay and then nothing.
