Complaint: [redacted]I am rejecting this response because:
I received a letter on Friday afternoon of December the 2nd informing me of her decision to terminate our children's care with less than 30 days notice.  I tried corresponding with Ms F[redacted] via written letters, but she wanted to argue in front of the children.  I refused to do so and after she refused to accept a letter, having no other choice, I contacted the Revdex.com to see if they could help us come to an agreement.  The morning after the Revdex.com contacted Ms F[redacted] is when she called us telling us that if we tried to come by she would call child protective services.  The date of this complaint, the date which the Revdex.com contacted Ms. F[redacted] and the date when she immediately terminated our children's care is well documented in the dates on the Revdex.com system.
Ms. F[redacted] decided to terminate our services and is unwilling to refund us for services which we paid for, but did not receive.  I did contact the police to be there when I recovered my children's possessions, but only to ensure that there were trusted witnesses in case she were to latter accuse me of something, as she just did.
We had a business disagreement, she wouldn't discuss it in a civil manner and now she is calling me a abusive sexist who is also racist.  I served a under CDR Villarreal (same "race" as Ms F[redacted]) with distinction in the US Navy being recommended for and awarded by him with one of the highest non-combat awards for my exceptional service to him.  My doctoral committee co-chairs both happen to be women.  I served as a court APPOINTED advocate for abused boys with whom I was mentoring as they sought rehabilitation while they were in prison.
Draw whatever conclusions you want, but I really just want me money back.Sincerely,[redacted]

This letter is written as a formal response to the complaint listed and assigned above. Mr. [redacted]is misrepresenting Children's Corner Montessori School is several ways.1. Children's Corner Montessori Preschool is NOT a large commercial daycare. The school is in myhome, and operates as a...

licensed family daycare with a maximum enrollment of 12 children with ageranges from infant to 5 year of age.2. In accordance with Washington State Licensing requirements all of the parents at the schoolincluding [redacted] and his wife were verbally informed in October of the school's change in hoursof operations, which were to take effect beginning in the month of January of 2017. The change inhours of operations moved the child-pick up time from 6:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. An official letter with theconfirmed change in hours of operation was issued on November 29th to ALL of the parents. This letteris attached.3. In the month of November, Mr. and Mrs. [redacted] both tried to convince me to allow their family tocontinue the old hours of operation for their children despite the change. Mrs. [redacted] communicated sheand her husband would not be able to comply with the new hours of operation due to their workschedule. Based on this communication, I also provided the [redacted]'s with a letter on November 29th,terminating the childcare services of the [redacted] family, at the end of December. This letter was sent wellwithin the 30 day notification policy listed in the Children's Corner Montessori Parent Handbook. I haveattached a signed document indicating the [redacted]'s acknowledgement they have agreed to the terms andpolicies listed in the parent handbook.Other considerations that went into this decision were based on negative interactions I have had withMr, [redacted] with particular consideration given to his history of the untimely pick-up of his children. Onseveral occasions he has arrived after 6:00 p.m. or would wait in his car until exactly 6:00 p.m. to pick-uphis children, then would take a considerable amount of time to pack up his children and leave. Onoccasions such as this I gently pointed out his tardiness, Mr. [redacted] would avidly deny his tardiness andrecord a 6:00 p.m. pick-up time on the sign in/out sheet, with no regard to the accuracy of this record.
This behavior showed a lack of respect to me and certainly weighed into my decision to discontinueservices for the [redacted] family. "When the [redacted] family received my letter of termination, they expressed confusion and anger, andrefused to stop bringing their children, attempted to persuade me they would "try to pick-up theirchildren on-time" in compliance of the new hours of operation, but could not control the bus schedulesif they were delayed. I was NOT willing to take a chance with this based on their previous child pick-uptrack record. When I did not acquiesce to their demands [redacted] began to escalate the situation, expressingangry and erratic behavior. He pushed me away from his child and causing me to almost lose my balanceand shouted, "I just want my child to be safe!" This behavior was alarming and witnessed by otherchildren and adults. He continued this behavior when he picked up his children in the evening in front ofother children and adults. After I consulted with the King County Childcare Association Licensing office, I was advised to terminatehis services immediately in order to ensure the safe environment of the children, my staff and myself. The next day I attempted to contact Mr. [redacted] by phone, he failed to answer any of my calls. I was ableto reach Mrs. [redacted] by telephone to Inform her of my decision to terminate their services immediately, and she continued to demand the ability to drop her children off for care.Later that day Mr. [redacted] arrived at the school with a police escort to pick-up his children's belongingswhich included two diapers, a pair of shorts and slippers. The [redacted]'s have since threatened to sue me,filed a Revdex.com complaint against me, and posted a negative remark about my business on a Facebook pagewhich was not created by our school and mysteriously popped up on the day of his discontent.Mr. [redacted] continued to strum up fabricated accusations about my staff and school after this point, and Itis clear to myself, my staff and the other parents that Mr. [redacted] has clear anger management issues. Atthis point I have not filed harassment charges against Mr. [redacted], and I hope he has the sense to abstainfrom further action against me and my business. I feel I have been quite generous in exhibiting restraint. As a woman, senior and minority owned business I must maintain my own safety and the safety of mystaff and clients. I am confident in my decision to terminate childcare services for the [redacted] family. As aresult, Children's Corner Montessori Preschool continues to be a safe environment for the children, theirfamilies and my staff. Please Note: In ANY school enrollment program including pre-school, or any private educationalinstitution, it is NOT a standard practice to refund tuition when school policies are clearly broken, asthey have been In this case.
