Children's Dental Cottage

Review: My daughter needed to have a dental procedure done. After Dental Cottage provided a second opinion and cost estimate we decided they were the right dentist to trust. I paid $359.00, my out of pocket portion before the procedure September 3, 2015. Insurance paid October 7, 2015. I received an account statement with no account number, no phone number, and no due by date April 19, 2016 stating I owe $652.00. Upon calling to question this statement I am informed they show a balance of $732. Dental Cottage claims to not have BCBS on file though I have record of them receiving the copy on 8/21/15. How nice of them to agree an estimate wrong by more than 200% is far beyond reasonable. But I still owe $732.00 which they will to take in three payments (not stated on statement). I chose to do the procedure in the manner we did knowing it would cost $359 not $1091.00. There were other options that may have been the best option for our family had an accurate cost been provided.Desired Settlement: The Children's Dental Cottage should make the claim with secondary insurance to try to recoup any additional amount they can by their poor estimate and write off the rest. I paid what they said I would owe.
