Chili's

We waited for a table at this location for close to 45 minutes. We were waiting for 6 people. We were seated, and asked for a extra chair. The server brought and extra chair for us the put a baby seat at the end of the table for a baby's seat. The hostess walked around, and said that the chair had to be moved due to a fire hazard, which we understood. The hostess continued by saying we needed room for 7, and should have counted the baby as an adult body, so she couldn't accommodate us, and would have to put us at the end of the waiting list and begin our waiting period over just as we had just arrived at the restaurant. We declined and said we would just squeeze into the seating that was provided. However, there was a second couple that was seated next to us they overheard the situation, and offered to give us their table. When the hostess came around to check for open tables she noticed that my family had also sat the table that was offered to us, and asked us to get up. I asked to speak with the manager who sided with hostess. She said that the table was not the couple's to give away although they had decided to be courteous to us that she did not honor this and that we had to leave basically.
