Mrs. [redacted] called stating that she wants a refund for a poor inspection performed on 9-17-14. Customer states that another company came in to say that the unit is fine and needed to be sprayed out with air. She demanded a refund and a return call by [redacted] (owner). I am rejecting this response because:
This response in no way deals with the complaint.  I called the business myself to advise them of our complaint and requested to speak with the owner.  When not called back my wife then called.  The receptionist advised us that she spoke with the owner who had pulled our file and reviewed it.  My wife asked to speak with him and was told he was in a "grouchy mood" and would not speak with us.  We wanted the opportunity to speak with him to advise him directly of the poor service and what we felt may have been the company's attempt to simply get us to buy a new unit and not repair an obviously repairable unit.  The receptionist kept saying she would "let him know".  The tech they sent out was either too inexperienced, not trained or too lazy to fix or, as was the case, clean it.  We feel they took our money and chose to not bother trying to repair it, figuring we would make them more by buying a new one.  We wanted to speak with the owner, who was obviously available to do so as they just admitted in their response, not write [redacted] letter stating what the receptionist and history records already told him.  Refusing to speak with us just further shows the poor business practices of a company with an alleged A+ Revdex.com rating, which is why we went to them in the first place.  We gave them notice that we would file a Revdex.com complaint if he refused to speak with us.  He now has a complaint in writing and we have not taken up any other internet writings other than this in an attempt to remedy this.  If he wanted something in writing as he says, he has now received it.  If he wants something sent in writing, simply provide an email address and I will copy and paste our Revdex.com complaint which has all of the details.
