Chimney Chap Corp.

Review: last year I called chimney chap corp . to clean my chimney flu. when I went out to check the progess of cleaning I found the workman with his arm in my attic fan pulling around on the interior . I asked what he was doing and was told my fan was broken and had a big squirrel nest in it. I told him that my fan worked fine as it had gone on the day before. he told me that it couldnt have worked in a long time. and that he would fix both my fans for 2 thousand dollars. he kept pressing me about my fans so I asked him to leave. after he left then I climbed up to my attic.I had become suspicious because he should not have been near my fans and kept pushing me for the business of my fans repair.

when I reached my fan ,I saw that the whole side was pushed in and the blade bent so it couldnt turn any longer. and this was working just the day before. also there was no squirrel nest, not even a leaf!

I then called the company and was told by the [redacted] that he would come over to see about the problem when he was in my area. he never came and its almost a year.

also I have left a few messages and not heard back.Desired Settlement: im sure nothing can be done after this amount of time .but I want to make sure that chimney corp. dosent pull this scam on someone else.Refund-Cash
