After removing the birds nest at the top of the chimney we could see a live bird down at the damper level. We capped the fireplace chimney then capped the furnace chimney. At that point I went inside to talk to the owner. I told her there was a bird still in the lower area of the chimney. I told her...

I could try to remove the bird but could not guarantee the bird wouldnt fly around the house.  The owner indicated to me NOT to try to remove the bird and that her daughter could do it. Remember,  the daughter already removed the birds prior to my arrival, so of course I did not think that doing it one last time was going to be a problem. AS far as the payment was concerned, I simply asked If she was paying by check or cash. She said her daughter was going to pay.  I said fine.   NO Problem. There was no issue about payment as far as I was concerned. Finally bird removal is tricky, they can carry histoplasmosis which can be transmitted.  I never said I was afraid birds.  Thats nonsense.     We did a good job, but I probably should have called the daughter, to apprise her of the situation   Louis [redacted]      President   Chimney Solutions NY , Inc.

The customer’s item IS under warranty, we have tried to contact them but they never called us back when we left messages.   We cannot refund the prepaid activation/minutes, but we can refund the screen if we take our parts off that we replaced.   Originally they had wanted to do...

a data recovery for $50, but then they chose to fix the screen.   Upon fixing, we noticed that the home button/charge port assembly were not working (this is normally a $40 separate repair) and offered to fix it for cost, $10.   Total paid for the repair was $70 for the screen, $10 for the charge port/home button plus whatever she paid for the minutes.   We have a good reputation, and we always warranty our repairs, and to communicate.   Please have the customer call us to resolve this, we can either fix the problems under warranty or we can take our parts back off. We also did give a receipt, we checked our copy on file here.   We also take credit cards for payment, and do not require cash payment.Please let us know if you need any more information. Tim M[redacted]
