While finishing up our dessert at the China Inn Buffett in [redacted], the waitress stood by our table and patted me on the shoulder and told me to Tip Now. My boyfriend replied I'm not tipping right now. He said this because we were still eating and we both found this extremely rude. I was there years ago and my friends and I were physically blocked into our seats and was asked to tip more money than we already put down. I have read numerous reviews of this place after my most recent experience and everyone complained about the extreme pressure the staff and manager put on customers to tip more than they already put down.

Review: On Thursday December **2013, I went to the buffet with my daughter and niece. Since you have to pay in advance, I asked the cashier how much is the buffet and she said $16.50, I thought that was kind of high but I said okay and I paid. After I paid I took a menu with me to my seat. I proceeded to look at the menu and it stated that the buffet was $12.99 per person. When I was leaving the restaurant I asked the cashier, why does the menu say the buffet is $12.99 and you charge me an even $16.50? She said the buffet is $12.99, then she added the soda for $1.25 and then she added an additional $1.00 toward the tip. I said wait a minute, you are supposed to ask me if I would like a soda and that it would be an additional charge and also it’s illegal to add tip on especially if you are not telling the customer that you are adding on $1 toward the tip. The waitress gives you fortune cookies at the end of your meal with something for you to leave an additional tip, but the restaurant already charged you $1 per person without letting you know.

I explained to them that they are supposed to inform the customers if they are being charged for something in addition to what they are asking for. I should have been asked if I would like a soda and that its an additional charge and adding a $1 tip per person is telling me that we don't know how to tip correctly so they will charge us an additional $1 per person to make up for our short comings.Desired Settlement: The restaurant needs to stop ripping people off. I think about all of the senior citizens that eat at the buffet and are being charged for something they are not aware of.

Review: I gave a seven dollar tip with my debit card to one of the waitresses and they charged my credit card $77.50 which I had not authorize. when I checked my account I was furious I could not believe they had stolen $77.50 from my account. I did not authorize them to take out this money I have called my bank to resolve the issue and I am filing a complaint because I do not want other honest citizens like myself to go through this terrible experience with such bad service and a bunch of thieves running this buffet.Desired Settlement: I want my money back. I am poor and would gladly appreciate if anything was done about this manner. God bless
