We checked into our rental home *** Overlook) on July 3 and placed cold food from our cooler in the refrigerator around 4pm. After running errands and purchasing more groceries from the store, we returned around 6pm to find that our items (lunch meat, etc) were room temperature and cheese had melted, inside the refrigerator. We reported immediately to the rental company. In the meanwhile, we had toss everything in the trash, buy another cooler and buy all new food, losing about *** in the process. We asked for compensation for that loss and inconvenience and they refused.
They claim the refrigerator is working fine now. I don't care if it is or not. It wasn't working while we were there and we had to camp out of cooler while staying in a house. Ridiculous. This was our much needed vacation and it's unfair that it was negatively impacted by faulty equipment.

As soon as we received Mrs. complaint we sent our Serviceman out to check the refrigerator. He stated that it was at the proper temperature and all the food was cold and the ice trays were still frozen. We had guest prior to Mrs. stay and after her departure and there have not been any issues with the refrigerator.

The refrigerator was not cold when the service man came and he agreed with us that it wasn't. The freezer was working fine the whole time. He stood in the kitchen with me and my husband and agreed that the refrigerator did not seem cold enough. I can't believe we are still debating this. If he told the reality company it was fine, then he lied. I am not crazy. He touched items in the refrigerator and noted that they weren't cold and they had been in the refrigerator for almost 24 hours.
As I stated in my prior response , We have not had any issues with this refrigerator prior to Mrs. stay , during her stay or since her departure . Our Service man has been working with our company for over 8 years and we have never had any reason to doubt his word or work.
