Mrs. [redacted] situation. Mrs. [redacted] came in for an exam on June 30, 2015 and Mrs. [redacted] purchase a pair of glasses for $68, she deposit $34 with her credit card. Mrs. [redacted] balance is $34. Our policy are patient has 90 days to pick up and pay their remains balance or forfeit their deposit. The reason we have this policy because all optical lens are custom made they cannot return or resale to another customer. In Mrs. [redacted] case we give her 180 days to pick up. Our record indicate we call her multiple time for Mrs. [redacted] to pick up her glasses but not successful. On January 16, 2016 we call again and left a message for Mrs. [redacted] to pick up her glasses and pay her balance of $34 by January 20, 2016 or she will lose her deposit. We are regretting that Mrs. [redacted] did not call our office back to resolve the situation. The dispute amount $60 was not correct, Mrs. [redacted] only deposit $34 on her credit card. We can make an exception and return the $34 on the original form of payment that Mrs. [redacted] has deposit even though we are losing money on her lens that already custom make for her. Please relate the message to Mrs. [redacted] that she can contact our office for the return process. We hope this will close the case again our office.
