Mr***, we understand that you have requested the case to be reinstated, however, you have not made it clear what you are wanting us to doIn June you made it known that you had acquired the help of another tax firm to file an amended return on your behalf, and based on the results of that return, the IRS updated your tax return with the new informationIt therefore appears there is nothing left to do to fix the mistake that was made in the filing of your income tax return.You've stated that after you called you were placed on hold for a long time; for this I can only apologizeI would however, like you to know that I made repeated attempts to return your phone call in September, using the telephone information you provided us, but was neither able to reach you or leave a voice messageIt was clear that an error was made on your tax return when you brought us the CPnotice you received from the IRSYou stated in your first message that our employee acknowledged the error and was seeking to make arrangements for you to meet with me to correct itAs stated in my previous response, our company policy states that we will fix/amend your tax return without charge if the error was made on our partBefore we were able to do this however, you chose to have another tax preparation company do this for you and as a result we can no longer respond to the request from the IRSLike all of our customers, you are always welcome to call my office and make an appointment to visit with me in personSincerely,Geren T**

issue with the IRS, including amending a tax return without cost if caused by an error on our partDue to our inability to provide you with the service we promised, I would be happy to grant your request and reimburse you for the preparation amount as well as the amended return amount that you paid

I am rejecting this response because:I came to you guys (Chipmans accounting) to seek help and answers, her office is next to yours I forget her name already but she's been there for a long time, she told me the the IRS over paid me due to an error & that balance that I owe I needed to pay & that all Chipmans will responsible for interest fee, & that was itPoint blankI know for a fact that was wrong & that I felt like I needed to seek help elsewhere, I know your defending your worker & u should, but I know for a fact what she said, maybe because I am a minority & expected not to know anything, being a customer there for 17years this was what I got, I trusted ChipmansAs an being an owner it was your responsibility to get in touch with me, I left my # with your secretary, you guys have mailing address, for you to say you tried reaching me?, your incorrect (lie)I gave you an opportunity to handle like businessman,Im asking a full refund of what I requested$

Hi there, I like to reinstate this case #***, all current info are still the sameI waited until I had a answer back from the Internal Revenue Service on my amendment I submittedI wanted to see how the owner of Chipmans Accounting (Garin)would handle this, so I called him on September 28, @ 12:30, was on hold forever & never never never gave me a call back, I seeked legal consultation back in May of 2016, was specifically told not to accept any damages I was asking, just to wait till I get a answer back from the IRS, I was ready to let my attorney file a suit if this whole thing went south, me paying back the IRSI believe Chipmans Accounting knew they made a error, but failed to correct the mistake they made, and I am sure I am not the only victim here, maybe me being a majority had something to do with it, I just wish they had help me out after I been filing my taxes with them for 17+ yearsI want this case to be reinstated #***
