Chippewa Valley Sealcoat

Review: On Sept 25-27, 2014 I had this company crackseal & sealcoat my driveway with two coats for $787.00. After completion I called several times & left messages that I had some complaints. I waited over a week before someone called me back. My biggest issue was cracks that had not been sealed properly & was told because of the time of year I was to call them back in March of 2015 which I did & waited another month or more before someone came & looked at them. I was told they would fix them when in area. After several more calls leaving messages with no return calls from them, finally on July 26 they called & left a message apologizing that it had been taking so long to get to this and an offer to give me $100.00 if they didn't come the following week, but no, they did not show up. Again tried contacting them several times with no return calls. It is Oct. 2 & nothing has been done.Desired Settlement: I feel that after paying what I did, they should stand behind their work and these cracks should be repaired as they said they would. It is one year since this service was done and I'm still waiting.

We are extremely sorry that [redacted] is not happy with the out come of the work done on her driveway. There has been several personnel changes since last year and it is my understanding that at one point this was taken care of. Obviously that was not the case and we will be providing a fix for the cracks on her driveway in the coming weeks.

We took the time to come out to [redacted]'s home and fix the cracks that she requested. She stated it did not blend, given that the cracks where re done twice on top of the original sealcoat they will not blend at this time. We would be happy to come out in the spring and sealcoat over them to help them blend more adequately.

Poor service and customer service. Hired Chippewa Valley Sealcoat in September of 2013. took weeks for them to accomplish crack fill and double coat.The workers got tar coat puddle in grass, on garage door & frame, landscaping rocks, and side walk to front door. I called to let them know...Finally, in late October they finished the job. In April 2014 driveway is pealing off sealcoat. I called and left message. No one returned my call. May 30, 2014 I called again. Spoke with [redacted], told him the whole issue again. He said, "I had no idea, no one gave me the message of your original call." He came out that day and submitted a contract to sealcoat again-for no charge & fix peeling spots. July 1st 2014 7 a.m. I called Chippewa Valley sealcoat again to inquire about when this job might be started and finished. I left a message. at 7:45 a.m. this message was left on my answer machine from [redacted] "Unfortunately, we are really busy, you are not the only person in the world. Quit hassling us, we'll get there when we get there. And if we don't get there it's because you bother me too much. There is no warranty on this, you are lucky we are coming back to fix it anyway, so quit hassling us. Have a good day."
