Review: We are weekly patrons of this establishment and are happy to spend upwards of $13 on designer pancakes. Today we ordered two combo breakfasts at the discounted rate of $6.59. Both of us expected that there would be a $1-$2 upcharge for our pancakes when I upgraded to Cinnabon and my husband upgraded to blueberry seeing as there were only 2 pancakes in the combo. When we received the bill there was a $4 upcharge for the 6 blueberries my husband received and a $3.50 upcharge for the cinnamon topping on mine. This is absurd seeing as this almost doubled the cost of our meals. When I addressed the manager on this he did nothing and said that was the "button on the computer". I understand their standard "button" for the upgrade of a full stack but $4 for 6 blueberries is ridiculous. Additionally I showed the table side menu to the manager where it did not state any upcharges for substitutions or changes but he did not care. This is not simply a matter over money but one of customer service as well. I am completely and utterly disappointed in a local restaurant that has no problem gauging the local public that has done nothing but helped this business thrive.Desired Settlement: I would like a full refund of both upcharges as well as proper documentation on all chips menus (tableside or elsewhere) clearly publicizing the upcharges for 2, 4 or 6 pancakes.
