***,Your insurance total was $44,of which the net you received is just over $32kIf you had received all RCV value and paid your deductible it would have been a total of $44k due us and we would have been able to do everything outlined in the scope of lossHowever you had requested a
specific roof upgrade and radiant barrier decking. That being said if you’ll let me know how you want to apply the remaining funds above the roof portion of $29,we can schedule to do the workI’d think we need to give you an itemized cost and if you want more done then what remaining funds allow we can work out an arrangement for you to pay extra.Tentatively I’ve got *** *** on hold to complete the interior work you’ve requestedAlso I’ve asked *** to hold on doing the 60’ of Gutters on the front and downspouts, let me know because any additional work on exterior fascia, Siding , soffit etc would be extra cost.If you would like us to provide an estimate for the additional items let me know.Thank you,*** *** Attn: Revdex.com I’ve expressed several time to the homeowner that we cannot control what their policy states and what the insurance company is willing to pay, he had three roofers all before us not one was able to get anything from the insurance company and homeowner was about to borrow money to replace the roof, we suggested that he open a claim and see what they would do, then he decided that they wanted to upgrade not downgrade but upgrade to a Class Impact Resistant Shingle and also upgrade his decking to radiant barrier which we did and also presented him with a formal estimate in advance of what the cost would be see attached, he then asked for additional items to be repaired etc however his insurance estimate did not pay for the additional items you’ll see both (

We had delays working with the insurance company to get a supplement approved to replace the roofThe original contract was to do the job for RCV Replacement Cost Value of $which means the insurance company would pay for all of the work materials and labor and the homeowner would only pay the
deductible which was $However in this case homeowner never expressed to us that this was a ACV Actual Cost Value Policy which means the insurance only pays a portion $and homeowner still pays the deductible of $2000.? Our contract was for RCV Replacement Cost Value however the homeowner did not have the additional funds or the $deductible to pay so we worked with insurance for an extended period of time to attempt to assist homeowner and get approval for additional code related items and help pay for the replacement costWe did not succeed so we made a determination to proceed and complete the project anyway at our own expense.see attached documentsTotal collected from homeowner is $5307Total Expense for project paid by us is $6478We completed the project in full on April 9th and to my knowledge the tenant and the homeowner are satisfied with the work. Please let me know if anything else is needed, I’d like to suggest that this be removed from our file completely if homeowner agreesIt was a pleasure doing the job we hope after everything that we have exceeded your expectations.Thank you,*** ***

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me, as long as the damage To the interior (hole where roofer fell through the ceiling in my living room and garage) as well as flashing around the chimney (that leaked inside of my home as a result of not replacing with the decking / roof) is repaired in addition to completing the interior repairs for the amount stated in the reply.
Sincerely,
[redacted]
