On 7/7/I took my dog “Jax” to see Garrett M***, DVM at
Chisholm Trail Veterinary Clinic, P.Cfor a blister on his right ear, was told that he had an ear infection and I was charged $for servicesOn 7/15/I called the doctor back with my complaints of being charged this money and it’s not looking better, but looking worse and I was told by staff person that she was going to talk to the doctor and call me back, hours later, no one had called me back I called them back again asking why no one has called me back, and was told “I didn’t tell you I’d call you back” then she found a note and said that the girl that did tell me she’d call me back was gone for the day as well as the doctor and “do I want her to bring it to another doctor” I said I was not happy and while I was speaking, she told me to stop talking to her in that manner and then she hung up on meOn Monday July 18, I called again and was told Garrett would call me backHe called me this time and I let him know that my dog seems to be worse then before I took my dog in to see him, and that his girl should apologize to me for hanging up on me, I was not happy with what was going on and I wanted my money backI said, Just because I’m in a wheel chair I guess you think I’m just a cripple you can take advantage of, but I’m an engineer, Electrical engineer and he said I don’t give a *** adding the *** if your in a chair or not you’re not welcomed back here againMy dog still has the same issues as he did before only now worse but what am I to do,

Hello, [redacted], I understand your frustration. We make every effort to clearly communicate costs and policies to our clients, but appreciate some of that may be lost in translation to someone not present at the appointment. From your standpoint, your puppy had shots and shouldn’t need more. In...

our experience, vaccines purchased at the feed store and given by breeders are not always stored and administered properly. Consequently, we have seen parvovirus outbreaks in our town from lack of proper vaccination.  For the safety of our patients and other dogs in the region, we developed a vaccine policy, based on professional guidelines, for the timing and delivery of vaccines. Puppies need a series of vaccines from a safe, known resource to be protected. Our policy is specifically designed to protect your puppy and any other dogs with which he comes in contact. Additionally, our vaccine companies guarantee the vaccines we give at [redacted]. Should your pet come down with parvo or distemper after receiving the full set of vaccines from our clinic, the vaccine company would pay for the testing and treatment for your pup. Needed services were discussed before they were given. As you know, we also have a policy that all payments are due at the time of service. There is a sign at the front desk. This policy has never changed. Our receptionist did  advised your husband that we need payment at the end of the visit. He left stating he would be in ‘tomorrow’ (the next day) to pay.  We value you as a client and are dedicated to the best care for your pets. We want to work with you to manage costs and still make sure your pup receives the medical care he needs. Before taking the final effort to receive payment by filing a report with the police, we attempted to resolve this issue many times. Our office called multiple times, sent e-mails, and sent  text messages. Thank you for your years of being a client here with us. It is fine for you to just mail the check in. It is unfortunate that it has come to this. We value all of our clients and patients and hope we can find a way to work together in the future. Regards, [redacted]

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is the best I will get from [redacted]. I now have two pups and hope to have them for a long time to come. I also plan to keep them extremely healthy because they are now our family. It really wasn't the cost of the services but the treatment of my husband and as for numerous times to contact me it all happened in 3 days. They have lost a long time customer and any possible referrals.Regards
