Chitika, Inc is a horrible advertising company. They have stolen over $2,400 of my money and now I have to take them to court and file a complaint with the Revdex.com. Chitika, INC lied to me about sending me payment and thy never did. When I finally wrote them they lied and said it was because they couldn't detect my ad code but I sent them receipts that the code was on my site. I still never received payment. Don't do business with this ad company if you received tons of traffic because they won't pay if you earn too much.

I am trying to collect a small payment from this company, as a matter of principle. The company apparently is late in paying fees owed, and is making those involved jump through hoops trying to collect. It has been one excuse after another, and now emails are not being answered.Desired SettlementBeing paid what I am owed.Business Response This issue was resolved via customer support on [redacted] 2015. Proof may be provided to the Revdex.com if necessary.Details of the complaint and resolution are as follows: Chitika is an online advertising network that allows publishers to serve our ads on their websites. Chitika requires tax documentation and verified payment information to process publisher payments. Publisher provided tax documentation and payment information, and payment was issued in the next pay cycle.Consumer Response (The consumer indicated he/she ACCEPTED the response from the business.)Yes, they did pay me, despite the confusion.

Chitika Publisher Account deactivated without notification or clear reason. No billing/info or refund provided. Customer Adviser don't reply anymore.Dear Revdex.comI have been using Chitika publisher account userid: [redacted] for almost 5 years. Last week, I couldn't login anymore. After so many password reset attempts, I contacted customer service. I was told me, it's deactivated due to "invalid activity". According to them I was sent some email to notify their decision. I rechecked and certainly I never received any email from them. I tried several emails, yet they refused to explain what they mean by "invalid activity". If this was clicking on ads myself, I never ever did that once in last 5 years. If such clicks was done by my competitor site, Chitika should have invalid click detection like [redacted] Like other companies, if they decide to deactivate, then they must provide clear reason and refund me any due money, rather than blocking login details so I cannot even access my earning reports. In order to settle this, I expect:1. Refund the money due for advertisement since last payment on [redacted] 2015.2. If you say that the money has been refunded to advertisers, I would like the proof that Chitika has refunded the money(with exact amount and date) to advertisers. There are so many other people having exact same issues i.e. their account disabled without any notification how can so many people never receive such email? or reason given, see here one of many example at Revdex.com: [redacted]It shows Chitika is doing the same for many users i.e. blocking without notification or reason, and denying publisher's revenues without refund or billing info. Regards[redacted]Desired SettlementReinstate Account. Else Refund with proof showing what was charged/refunded to Advertisers. Business Response Chitika takes the quality of its network very seriously and has devoted a ton of resources towards maintain the quality of its network. 1. The publisher's account was deactivated because it scored extremely highly on our fraud detection systems. Chitika, like Google, maintains its own propreitary clickfraud detection systems and uses various industry-standard fraud detection signals plus internally developed intelligence. Based on all these signals, the account was scored and clearly showed signs of fraud. Per our terms and conditions, the account was then terminated. 2. Our advertisers marked this account as "Bad" and issued chargebacks against it. Consumer Response (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)Dear Revdex.com1. As always Chitika has not provided any explanation of the Click Fraud. I have used Chitika for 5+ years and never clicked once. As said in my initial complaint, please share evidence of such fraud? Who did what, where and when? I am sure Chitika will have audit log of such activities and I will investigate. My website had been migrating to wordpress and I believe there may be some error in Chitika detections system, as highlighted by other complaints on user forums. 2. As I mentioned in complaint, if Chitika claim that have issued charge-back to advertisers, please provide evidence of refund. I believe Chitika has used such tactics with many other people, by blocking their account while still charging the publishers. There is one exact example of such complaint right here on Revdex.com, refer to [redacted] Until adequate explanation and evidence is provided, I will hold my complaint.

Improper deactivation of my business account with chitikaI have a ad publisher account with Chitika (E-mail - [redacted]@jantareview.com) for last 4 months. I joined chitika after a chitika sales person specifically invited to join chitika publisher affiliate program. Around june 24 I was unable to login in after several attempts. I tried to contact the company, was told the account has been deactivated for invalid click.1. The company never informed me the account was deactivated or informed me that they have detected invalid clicks.2. it was not possible to have invalid click on that ad because The ads shows up on only one page on the site on bottommost leftcorner. So there is no possibility of accidental clicks.- The ad is clearly marked as advertisement on the top of the ad.- And Nobody is clicking on the ad on purpose.3. I don;t believe the company refunds the all the money to advertisers since 1. payments pending for the last two months have already been processed and paid by advertisers.2. only a subset of advertisers(if any) would have made a complaint3. the company may have a substandard invalid click detection system(if any)4. Nowhere on their site are there any guidelines for publishers for preventing clicks. So I followed google adsense guidelines.
