Review: We booked Chizek Transport to pick up 2 pallets 11/1/13 in Harrodsburg, KY and deliver them between 8-12pm on Monday 11/4/13. As a part of the negotiation we are paying Chizek for dedicated truck service to ensure pallets are delivered Monday morning for our customers project. Load was picked up with no issues.

On Monday 11/4/13 Load was not delivered yet as of 10am, [redacted] spoke with [redacted] at Chizek to get an ETA (estimated time of arrival). At that time [redacted] said the truck would still arrive by noon.

At noon, the receiver had not seen or heard from the driver so called concerned. We made contact again with [redacted] and was told driver was running behind and he would be there by 3pm now.

At 3pm no truck arrived, once again I spoke with [redacted] at Chizek. At that time the freight was still in [redacted] yard. The receiver closed at 3:30 and no delivery was made on Monday at all. I expressed the frustration with inaccurate eta's and my customers loss of productivity, [redacted] and Nicole promised the freight would arrive Tuesday morning at 6:30 when they open.

At 7am Tuesday 11/5/13 the freight had not arrived yet. I called for [redacted] at Chizek and was passed through 4 different dispatchers before finally reaching [redacted] again, she said the freight was still in the yard and a driver would be there to pick up in 2 hours, I reluctantly used this information to give new ETA of noon to my customer.

At 2:30pm 11/5/13 Chizek went to the wrong address for delivery. The address that I sent them was different than what was on the Drivers paperwork and they never called to double check the discrepancy and went to the wrong location. Finally at 3pm 11/5/13 the freight arrived.

When the crates arrived they had not been blocked or braced and slid all over the trailer, to the point of actually putting a hole in the nose. The crates were a total loss, they're custom made crates for the specific tooling they contained. We had to make a deal with the client to not claim the damage in exchange we would not charge for the horrible service rendered.Desired Settlement: [redacted] at Kirsch have spoken with [redacted] about the incident and Chizek Transportation claims no accountability or responsibility for the late/damaged product. We would like a $250 per day deduction x 1.75 days @ $437.50 reduced from the original $1000 agreed amount. Our client lost thousands in productivity and has to order new crates for his tooling products. This is a best case scenario considering all the false information and terrible service rendered.
