Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID 10758330, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.I presented proper medical documentation, but when the treating physician is an ALBANY state alumni, the same ALBANY state that is responsible for handling the recall, the same ALBANY state that granted CHOBANI a contract to be served at NYC public school systems, I begin to notice a CONFLICT OF INTERESTMostly the interest being MONEY on the behalf of certain businesses or entities who have a civil duty to inform and protect the public and who failed to do soI also did research and discovered the $180,in fines for the Chenango County plant in for the same mold issue and I am left to wonder if the public was notified, and if claims were submitted how many were denied due to "lack of medical causation" If you consume something and become sick with a severe illness you never had before, without prior knowledge of a product being tainted and go to the doctor and he diagnoses you with something else you should not be held liable because you were not notified of the recalled itemI do know I was not sick until I consumed the yogurt which I found out after the fact was contaminated with moldwhich I subsequently can not eat because I have allergic reactions to the productI will be contacting the proper agencies to investigate all parties involved on the handling of the recall and the claims submitted because I nor the public should be penalized for not being properly notified and allow the coverup of a potential health crisis [To assist us in bringing this matter to a close, we would like to know your view on the matter.] Regards, [redacted] ***

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID 10758330, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.I presented proper medical documentation, but when the treating physician is an ALBANY state alumni, the same ALBANY state that is responsible for handling the recall, the same ALBANY state that granted CHOBANI a contract to be served at NYC public school systems, I begin to notice a CONFLICT OF INTEREST. Mostly the interest being MONEY on  the behalf of certain businesses or entities who have a civil duty to inform and protect the public and who failed to do so. I also did research and discovered the $180,000 in fines for the Chenango County plant in 2012 for the same mold issue and I am left to wonder if the public was notified, and if claims were submitted how many were denied due to  "lack of medical causation".  If you consume something and become sick with a severe illness you never had before,  without prior knowledge of a product being tainted  and go to the doctor and he diagnoses you with something else you should not be held liable because you were not notified of the recalled item. I do know I was not sick until I consumed the yogurt which I found out after the fact was contaminated with mold. which I subsequently can not eat because I have allergic reactions to the product. I will be contacting the proper agencies to investigate all parties involved on the handling of the recall and the claims submitted because I nor the public should be penalized for not being properly notified and allow the coverup of a potential  health crisis.

21 August 2015Re: ID [redacted]Dear [redacted],Thank you for your letter of August 14, 2015, forwarding a copy of the complaint from [redacted]. As indicated in her Revdex.com Complaint, [redacted] did contact Chobani on September 13, 2013. She mentioned that she purchased Chobani product on August 19, 2013 and claimed to become sick after consuming the product. As you are likely aware, during the time [redacted] contacted Chobani, we were undergoing a voluntary product recall. As per Chobani's protocol during the recall, all complaints of illnesses were sent directly to our insurance carrier to handle as potential claims. According to Chobani's insurance carrier, [redacted]' claim was received by the carrier on 9/27/13. After various correspondence with the claimant,' including a review of [redacted]' medical records and doctors' reports, the insurance carrier denied [redacted]' claim based upon "lack of medical causation." According to our carrier, "[t]he medical records provided did not support a claim for illness related to consumption of the recalled yogurt." Accordingly, a denial letter was mailed to [redacted] on June 3, 2014. 1 The claim was closed shortly thereafter.Thank you for bringing this matter to our attention. Please let us know if we can be of further assistance.Best regards,Associate General CounselChobani, LLC

The information regarding the material found in Ms. [redacted] cup of Chobani Greek Yogurt did take a longer then usual amount of time to determine. Unfortunately the incorrect case ticket number was associated with the material she had returned to us. Once the material was found and identified Ms. [redacted] was called and prodided the information. The letter regarding needed to be approved and was mailed a week or so after. The letter is attached.
