Review: Prior to going to the restaurant that we had reservations for on Mother's Day Sunday May **,2014, my family and I decided to go online to view the menu so that we can get an idea of what food we would like to order so that it will save us time when we get there. Once we got to the restaurant and was seated, we recieved our menus and was shocked to see that all the prices were actually doubled the amount. For example... the house ground Turkey burger was priced online at $12, the menu was priced at $22. The shrimp n grits online was priced at $24 the price on the menu was $48. I inquired with the waiter and she stated that she noticed the new change in price when she showed up for work Sunday morning and was surprised. Before odering our food, I requested to speak with the [redacted]. I immediately went to the website on my phone to the menu page and showed it to the [redacted] and compared it to the menu that was given to us. He immediately apologized and stated that he was embarrassed and not to worry. so we ordered our food, which took over an hour to come and one of the oders were cold and had to be sent back. We noticed a few of the other patrons had the same pricing issues and were complaining as well. After we ate and got the bill, we were shocked that there were no price adjustment. I asked for the [redacted] once again and he said that there was nothing he can do! I felt duped and asked for [redacted]. After about 15 minutes he showed up and offered no apologies or any compensation. He simply stated that it was the "Mother's Day" price because he had to have extra staff to come in to accomodate the crowd and all the restaurants charge more for Mother's Day. I was shocked and appalled! He then said well, if you come back tomorrow, the regular prices will be in affect! I said extra staff? That explains why I waited over an hour for my food? I then asked, where did you advertise these new prices and why was it not on the menu online? he just walked away and said, pay your bill and have a nice evening. I was upset for my family because they had to pay the over priced bill and we said we will never come back there again! My son paid the bill with his credit card.
