Review: Joined chocolate tasting club, recieved introductory offer shipped to my residence. Due to diabetes diagnosis, sugar and alcohol content I called and cancel any further billing and shipments. I had a couple of seizures and mini strokes during this time and was hospitalized. The company refuses to refund the money that they charged me after I called and cancelled any further merchandise. The company sent two more packages to my residence and I was charged over 48.00. They insisted that I recieved four boxes which I did not reciece but three and wanted to argue this fact insinuating I was lying about the shipment. They state I didnt call untill two months after receiving the introductory offer which is a lie. I specifically remember calling the very day I recieved the shipment because of the sugar and alcohol content in this chocolate. Im up in age but I know exactly how to care for my diabetes. It is not logical for me to keep or want something that could possibly kill me. That is the most ludicrous action I could do to myself. This company refuses to reimburse me for there screw up and refuses to take responsibility for negligence.Desired Settlement: The chocolate tasting club got my money from [redacted] automatic bill pay and they need to return the full amount of purchase plus any further club membership fees they may have charged me in their " fine print". Thank you for your help, time and attention in this matter.

Review: I initially signed up for this club with a trial. The guarantee on their order page and terms and conditions of such stated that there is no quibbling and they are in business to make me happy. If for any reason I am dissatisfied with any selection I receive from them they guarantee to put matters right, replacing or refunding whichever is appropriate. On this premises I received the trial, tried didn't like and thought maybe next time won't be so bad, well I received the next 2 monthly shipments and had not opened them because I am very busy. So, I opened them both the same night on around June 3rd. I ate maybe 2 chocolates out of each and so did my wife, as I and my wife ate those they tasted disgusting and made me sick where I just wanted to vomit. From their records, I called in on June 4th and spoke with [redacted] in customer service. She was very rude with me and was completely unwilling to help me, she didn't even know what the website was or what he company policies were, she advised me that my only option was to refund one shipment. I told her about the guarantee and she had to look it up, then proceeded to tell me that no matter what the site says, that what she says goes and I am in the customer service field and would never treat a customer like they are wrong and stupid. I left the call upset and she was supposed to escalate a request to refund both of the transactions of 48.90 each. I called back on June 21st to inquire on it to find out that they supposedly called me but someone told them it was a wrong number. [redacted] I talked to was much nicer but could not help either, he told me that their solution was to refund 1 shipment like I told them was not right and refused to refund the other per their guarantee. It clearly states this guarantee on their website and no terms or conditions state that I have to call in a certain amount of time after the trial and in between shipments to request a refund.Desired Settlement: I want a refund of both shipments even if I have to send the chocolates back to them. I will not do business with them again and will not post reviews about this company and the pain that they have been in return. 2 transactions of 48.90, totaling 97.80 to be refunded back to my card ending in [redacted].
