Review: Choice Auto Glass were paid to repair a window properly in a 1970 Buick. The workmanship and unprofessional conduct resulted in additional damage.

On October 21st,2013,at approximately 1 pm.,we (my significant other and myself) took our 1970 Buick to have a windshield replaced. We are restoring the vehicle and never imagined that a business like this one existed. Prior to making a decision as to whether we wanted this shop to do the work we asked several questions. The man nicknamed "[redacted]" also known as [redacted] (store owner)was the person assisting us. We ask the man if he could do the work being that it is an older vehicle. He stated, "oh no problem" and "we have the window in stock". I then asked if he would be able to work with the chrome framing around the window. Once again, he said "No problem,the chrome looks difficult but it is not". So we received a price from him, and the time it would take to fix the windshield. Being that it would take 45 mins to repair we decided to walk to nearby stores. As time passed, I noticed that the business's secretary did not have me do paperwork for the services. We then returned to the business and my significant other, [redacted] went to inquire about the progress of the work. That is when he noticed major damage to the side panels/fenders of the vehicle (I have detailed/pictures of this damage). In this older vehicle part of the window framing/moulding is attached to the larger side panels/fenders. Both sides of the chrome on top are completely bent backwards. To repair this would mean to replace the ENTIRE FENDERs. We then found out that "[redacted]" did not have the correct window in stock but replaced the windshield with a aftermarket windshield which resulted in him having to use heavy "WINDOW GLUE" like nearly 50x as much to make the window fit. This glue is apparent and can also be seen in the pictures. Desired Settlement: Because I am the paying customer ([redacted]), I immediately requested that my bank dispute payment. I am currently waiting for the affidavit in the mail. I am not only requesting a refund, but I also would like for them to right their wrongs to the additional damage done to the car. I will be submitting estimates as to how much that will cost. So far my email attempts to resolve this issue with the company have only yielded further negative results. Therefore, I do not see being able to rightfully resolve this problem in a fair fashion with said business and its' owner.
