In reference to complaint ID ***.After the last correspondence that indicated the Revdex.com was closing this complaint, I sent a letter to the business by FedEx to let them know next steps would be going to small claims courtThen, I received the check they notified you of for $1,from Choice Floors and cashed it todayI consider this matter closed.Thank you for your help

I totally understand that there was an issue with the original installation The underlayment that was used the second time was the exact same as was used the first time The difference in the installation from the first time to the second was that mortar was to be used under the underlayment and the original installation was not done this way I looked into the matter as soon as I was aware of a problem, diagnosed it correctly and we took action to redo the work and make it right I understand that I failed to realize that the $had been accepted and I am indeed sorry for this but honestly did not see that it had been accepted I did not send the check for $because of the filed complaint but had in fact already mailed out the check before the complain was filed I was not able to offer a settlement for the full amount without the consent of the contractor who did the work and once o received the monies from the contractor as well as being notified from *** that the client was indeed looking for the reimbursement I was able to mail the check That it took a longer than was liked I again apologize for this but moved as quickly as I was able based on the parameters of what I was able to accomplish in working with the installation company There is seriously nothing further that I am able to do as I forced the issue with the contractor regarding the mistake and they jumped right on it as I requested which was greatIf the next step for satisfaction requires additional funds I will not be able to accommodate. I did not decline their offerI said it was insufficient but for the sake of expediency I will accept itI have text messages from *** indicating that it was the contractor installing the wrong type of subfloor that was the issueThat is an admission of liabilityI did ask for the $and David did not provide itI did ask him to reconsider awarding me the full amount but I never heard backI am glad I will be receiving a check for $But after all this time has passed and after having to go to the Revdex.com for a response I will not be satisfied until I receive the full $and I will not rescind my complaint I receive it.

To Whom it may concern,As the job was going through the process the clients admitted that they did not communicate with us during those moments when the customer was not getting the response from the installers We arrived to do our final QC and the client gave rave reviews to the finished
product It was around to days later that we learned that the grout was coming up on certain tiles then I immediately came out and determined what the problem was that was causing the failure We then proceeded to negotiate a time to come in and demo the floor and reinstall The client was all for it and acknowledged that they understood that this is what it would takeThe exclusion they demanded was that they not work on the weekends so as a result there was a loss of their kitchen over two weekends. After the job was completed we did another QC at which time *** asked to be reimbursed $for the cost of eating out I have attached the email thread that I have and there was a rejection of that offer It wasn't until much later that he sent a text to *** who sold the job asking why he had not received his check yet So imagine my surprise when I found out from *** that he was still expecting his $check Last Thursday I signed a check and put it in the mail to him and communicated this to him on the email thread.I would like to know what other steps I will need to take to clear this issue up It does look like now that he is okay with the $and I would expect he has received it today or will by tomorrow.
