Choice Painting

As my former client *** and *** stated, the garage floor was painted initially with a two component epoxy base oil paint POR-15 in August/September 2017.The surface was power-washed and etched with concrete etching, and let it dry for three days with the help of two commercial fans. After the third day tested the floor for proper dryness and painted two coats plus the clear protective coat. This process took four days. About a year later in 2018 client contacted me about the peeling of paint underneath her car tires. The rest of the floor surface of the double car garage was perfectly fine. I contacted the company who makes the paint, they sent me a starter kit and I went back to the client four times and fixed the peeling paint by cleaning the surface with a special solution what the company provided, painting two coats plus the protective layer(4 time visit). No charge!Again the same issue came up under the exact same car tires in 2019 summer and I repeated the same process as before with the starter kit provided by the company. This time I was grinding the surface of the floor with a concrete grinder to open up the pores that the paint can penetrate better. Repeated the three layer process in four days, at no cost. The surface is about an 8x10 inch spot in the double car garage.I received a phone call in December of 2019 from the client and she told me that the floor was peeling again on the exact same spot. At that time I was cooperating with the customer and I reached out to the company who makes the paint and I explained the situation happening all over again and asked for their advice. They suggested that the problem is caused by most likely an oil spill from possibly a previous car, or acid in the concrete in that spot. They also advised me that they are unable to provide another paint kit. Since the rest of the double car garage-beside this 8x10 inch spot- is perfectly fine, the company said it’s not a paint issue.The client has the company’s contact information and I suggested them to do the same as I did and contact to company to see what’s the solution. I was asking the company personally to send out a representative to check the issue together and find a solution. Unfortunately they don’t have a representative who comes out to the location and they don’t provide this service, but they are available to talk to over the phone.A week ago after former client contacted me again, I told her all this information and she started to threaten with your company and that she’ll ruin my reputation.The garage floor project was only a small part of the project I did for this client and with the rest of the work she is satisfied and happy.I feel that I did my best correcting the issue after fixing the same problem over and over again for free which did not happen out of my fault, and there is nothing more I can do at this time.
