Initial Business Response /* (1000, 8, 2016/01/11) */
Contact Name and Title: [redacted] - Owner
Uniforms that were ordered were ALL delivered. This league provided us with spreadsheets to order off of; however, many of the sizes and names were incorrect, so some of the kids received the wrong size...

but we corrected 100% of their orders and all the kids received their uniforms. They ordered dry fit and that is what they received! Before they ordered uniforms, we supplied them with spirit wear to sell to the players and they told us they were very happy with the product, in fact, they sold the items for substantial profit. This league was horrible to work with, unprofessional, threatened us multiple times and went as far as holding money from us even after the order was complete. In fact, they had to borrow money to pay us in full. We received complaints from parents as well as some of the board members from the town they leased from. I feel sorry for the 2016 vendor they are using. This league is all about the money and would highly recommend parents to seek out a different league for their kids.

Initial Consumer Rebuttal /* (3000, 11, 2016/01/14) */
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
I will state facts. There is no reason to lie about the details of this business. Yes, all uniforms were delivered, however, they were not delivered when promised. We had some kids changing in the port a pots right before a game as that is when some of the uniforms were issued. It was documented in our meeting minutes with this company that the uniforms would be issued prior to the start of the games using their time table that they established. We had multiple parents that had to purchase their own pants for the players as they did not want their child to look different than the rest of the players on the field during games. We did provide a spreadsheet, however, their company owners were at the sign ups as well when children were sized at sign ups. The complaints received once parents received the uniforms were that the same uniforms they tried on at sign ups were not the same ones issued. This was confirmed by our league. This caused some variations to sizes that were on our spreadsheets. We have multiple people on our board that can testify to this. The company did make good with the mistakes but we were already several games into the season by the time all fixes were made. This company did SELL us spirit wear. So they only supplied it because we purchased it.. however, the information listed above is inaccurate as the league did not make a substantial profit off the spirit wear as we had to price it high enough to sell and make some money for the league. Granted that the league should not of approved the purchase at those prices but nowhere in my complaint did I bring up spirit wear as that is the leagues fault that we did not make much profit. Not sure why that is even brought up to be honest. Not sure what threats they are speaking of so I cannot speak on that. The only threat that was made was from parents threatening to go to the newspapers once they saw the uniforms they purchased and not happy with the product. We directed those complaints to the vendor so that we do not play mediator. Another assumption was that the league borrowed money. The league president did have to utilize some of his own money to put the league in the black at the end of the season. This is the first year for the current board resulting in unexpected expenses for equipment, concessions, uniforms, field maintenance, uniforms, etc. The president of the league had to use personal money to cover some of those expenses. Once again, a mute point as that is not relevant to the case. That has nothing to do with their business since they were paid in full. Lastly, if our league was all about the money, we would of ended the season in the black and not in the red. A league that is all about the money does not end in the red at the end of the season. The bottom line is all expenses were paid and all services to the children were delivered. Our league has over 300 kids that play the sport and that is not an easy task but it is about the children. The complaints received were from parents not from the children which helped. The complaint is simple:
Uniforms were not issued when promised
Uniforms issued were not the same ones presented to the board when approved.
Sponsorship Fee was never paid even though their company name was advertised on uniform shirts for one of the teams
This is not about whether or not the president of the league needed to use his own money to offset expenses at the end of the season. This is not about spirit wear as that was not part of the initial complaint.
This is about not getting what was promised. It is unfortunate when you mix friends with business when something like this happens but listed above are the facts. Spirit Wear and the leagues finances are irrelevant to the case.
I can testify that all information listed above is true and accurate.
