As a parent of KTDOC student, I have been dedicating my time and resources to assist in every way possible for the past 3years.I have provided physical labor of setting up and transferring heavy and large instruments utilizing my own vehicle for minor to major performances throughout the yearsI have also donated funds and managed multiple responsibilities for KTDOC annual events and showcasesMy major contribution to the institute includes - Composing formal invitations and contacting local community leaders and educators for the eventsWorked closely with director and staffs of KTDOC in organizing showcase and coordinating eventsCountless hours of putting out posters and selling ticketsWorked until the midnight decorating performing halls and ushering more than guests! Responsible for VIP guest; composing lists, making individualized name tags, greeting each guests with personalized attention on behalf of KTDOC I was asked to be the MC of a major event in with no prior discussion but gladly took the position knowing the importance of the task I was often asked to be in charge of coordinating performers behind stage and completing their full facial maand putting on costumes (to different types of dance dealing with more than to performers)Director often appointed myself to be in charge of specific dance group and manage practice schedules, coordinating communication and collecting necessary dues involving the eventsAnd the list can go on.Thus, it is extremely difficult for me to accept above response and description of my 'behavior' as 'interference' and 'interruption' for the institutionIf there has been such incidents, my question to the director is why has she not address the issue?This is my first time hearing the real reason why [redacted] was released from the studio.I demand for the director to elaborate exactly how my 'behavior' has interfered KTDOC's operationI must now understand in detail how and why was I, the mother of [redacted] is the core and sole reason Any mother would take such position with heart ache.I also need to make correction to her response.The statement of "In July 11, after she finished the ‘Korean traditional music and art’ competition, she left our institution." [redacted] did not leave the instituteKTDOC simply notified via phone text message on July 13th, that the director MsAhn had decided to let her go and wish for her to find new dance studioI have requested for written explanation of such decision numerously via emails with no response receivedThis was the main reason why I have decided to seek assistance through Revdex.com.The director's responses are based on her personal opinions and are irrational.I can understand there can be dispute or disagreement between parents and teachersThis was not the case.I also can accept the fact that any teacher can favor or have negative feelings toward certain parentThe question is, does her personal emotion justify harsh punishment to the student? My major contribution to the institute includes - Composing formal invitations and contacting local community leaders and educators for the events. Worked closely with director and staffs of KTDOC in organizing showcase and coordinating events. Countless hours of putting out posters and selling tickets. Worked until the midnight decorating performing halls and ushering more than 500 guests! Responsible for VIP guest; composing lists, making individualized name tags, greeting each guests with personalized attention on behalf of KTDOC.  I was asked to be the MC of a major event in 2014 with no prior discussion but gladly took the position knowing the importance of the task.  I was often asked to be in charge of coordinating performers behind stage and completing their full facial make-up and putting on costumes (2 to 3 different types of dance dealing with more than 5 to 8 performers). Director often appointed myself to be in charge of specific dance group and manage practice schedules, coordinating communication and collecting necessary dues involving the events. And the list can go on.Thus, it is extremely difficult for me to accept above response and description of my 'behavior' as 'interference' and 'interruption' for the institution. To whom it may concern, We received the Complainant’s recent reply to our response. Please be advised that the KTDC (Korean Tradition al Dance of Choomnoori) is not just a regular business organization to make maximize its profit. The KTDOC's objective is not only to teach young students Korean Traditional Dance, but most importantly to teach unity, sociality, manners and Korean Traditional etiquette and proprieties amongst each other. KTDOC also render public service to the community by providing performances, which they learned in KTDOC's classes. KTDOC provide about 20-25 Korean Traditional dance performances throughout the year, by receiving invitations from state and/or local government or educational institutions. Since the KTDOC does not charge any stage or separate fees which are usually incurred for each performance, parents and volunteers always do not hesitate to provide assistances. Not only Ms. [redacted], but many students’ parents always provide volunteer assistances in preparing students’ performances, and we've really appreciated their assistance and encouragement. Since Korean traditional dance is based on Korean culture and traditional ethics, we have always taught our students to respect each other and follow the teacher’s instruction with respect. Pursuant to such principle, not only KTDOC but also many students and their parents have endured the uncooperative and disrespectful acts that [redacted] and her mother, Ms. [redacted] (the complainant) showed for the past several years. In fact, there were so many complaints from other students and parents about [redacted] and her mother’s such acts toward other students and the teacher. Most complaints about [redacted] were about [redacted]’s frequent absence, tardiness and crying out loud whenever things did not go along as she wanted, which caused the entire members of the dance group to either wait or postpone their schedules. Most complaints about [redacted]’s mother were about her scolding at [redacted]t with bad words without consideration of other students in class, frequent interrupting classes to take [redacted]t out of the classes while still in sessions, and ignoring the teacher’s instructions. Several evidences with redacting their name and signature are attached via mail since the website of Revdex.com do not have attachment function. Please note that we are not writing this response to blame any specific student or parents for whatever incident occurred. We also deeply care about any impact that may cause due to this kind of complaint and response to [redacted]. That is why we responded to the complaint briefly, being reluctant to specify any uncooperative act or disrespectful attitude complains that we received from other students or parents. However, since the complainant repeatedly requested that KTDOC explain the alleged suspension of [redacted] from KTDOC, we have no choice but to specify the above complaints from other students and their parents. Despite of the complaints, the students and their parents had been guided to understand [redacted] and her mother. Thereby many students living around Norwood, NJ branch did not register the class in Norwood branch where [redacted] registered for the past years. Instead, the students have registered their class at another branch, located in Palisades Park, NJ although it required more travel time to come to the branch. However, recently in preparing for the competition held by Traditional Art Society of Korea on 07/11/2015, the complaints from other students and parents were elevated so severe that KTDOC had to address them. For example, [redacted]'s mom demanded samgomu dance group students and parents to attend a private practice in her house, by sending out group texts. In fact they didn't even know about the private practice, under fearful and stressful mood that [redacted]'s mom ultimately created by yelling, scolding, instructing and pointing out students' problems, they felt unmotivated and discouraged. As showed in the evidence, the students and parents complained so much due to the embarrassment and disgrace that they felt in front of many other dance institutions and their participants in the competition when the complainant left the Auditorium with [redacted], while ignoring the teacher’s instruction and scolding at her own daughter. We still do not know why she acted like that even when [redacted] and her dance group won the 1st Prize in that competition. While KTDOC did not want to cause any emotional disturbance on [redacted] and tried to understand the complainant’s acts, KTDOC had to listen to many complaints from other students and parents. Their complaints were so severe, they told us they would not come to KTDOC if [redacted] and her mother comes back again. Considering the complainant’s acts on 07/11/15, KTDOC reasonably concluded that [redacted] and her mother had a clear intention to leave our institution. On 07/13/15, with congratulating words for the 1st prize in the competition, KTDOC had to urge modestly [redacted]’s mother to find a better instructor since the KTDOC might not be qualified enough to instruct [redacted] considering the recent incident at the competition. We hope that the complainant can better understand the underlying situation of our notification on 07/13/2015. Again, we do not intend to embarrass or inflict any emotional impact on [redacted] by listing this kind of complaint and responses through a public channel.
