I recently took my truck in for stalling and over heatingTwo years prior Richards did and overhaul of my cooling systemTwo years later the problem started againI took it in and it was a manufactured defect on the radiator the warranty was up but they were able to get the manufacture to replace it at no chargeAs for the stalling they mis- diagnosed the problem and charged me $The problem was not resolved it actually became worseI took it back and they told me they were going to have to run a diagnostic to find the issue it was $125, we asked why they didn't do this the first time? Thought they knew what it was! ran the diagnostic and still couldn't find itRan a more intense diagnostic and said it was the fuel pumpWanted to charge me $told them to forget it, made a complaint to them and got a call from the head Mechanic and I told him my problemTold me he would make me an offer told him I wasn't interestedTold me they would fix it at no chargeI told them sureFixed it , now the truck runs greatreceived a follcall I am very pleasedI would recommend them to anyone

I had not been to Richards Auto Clinic for years because I had moved miles away, Recently I experienced some major problems on my SUV, transmission issuesI initially took it to a dealer close by and who had serviced my car for a number of years, and that dealership took little interest in fixing my car(They did took interest after they quoted be an exorbitant high price.) Furthermore, they offered to do no “leg work” on contacting my warranty companyAs a result, I thought I’d see if Richards Auto Clinic was still in businessSure enough, *** answered the telephone and remembered my name from years ago! That was a good startNow things got even betterHe took a ride with me, analyzed my problems, spent considerable time contacting my warranty company, and got my car back in running order, with an appropriate reimbursement from the warranty company*** and his team did an excellent, most satisfactory job repairing my automobile

I recently took my truck in for stalling and over heating. Two years prior Richards did and overhaul of my cooling system. Two years later the problem started again. I took it in and it was a manufactured defect on the radiator the warranty was up but they were able to get the manufacture to replace it at no charge. As for the stalling they mis- diagnosed the problem and charged me $300. The problem was not resolved it actually became worse. I took it back and they told me they were going to have to run a diagnostic to find the issue it was $125, we asked why they didn't do this the first time? Thought they knew what it was! ran the diagnostic and still couldn't find it. Ran a more intense diagnostic and said it was the fuel pump. Wanted to charge me $1000. told them to forget it, made a complaint to them and got a call from the head Mechanic and I told him my problem. Told me he would make me an offer told him I wasn't interested. Told me they would fix it at no charge. I told them sure. Fixed it , now the truck runs great. received a follow-up call I am very pleased. I would recommend them to anyone.

The $8500 the complainant refers to was for work completed
back in September of 2013 for a Sage upgrade and developing Inventory Control
Program. The work was concerning the initial set up, configuration, training
services and procedures. Work was not only performed on...

the Inventory Control
program but also on the Purchase Order and Bill of Material programs as well. We
did this on a time and material basis. We have the time sheets to support
the invoicing.  All the work billed for
was delivered and completed. The complainant must have approved of the work at
the time as they paid for these invoices.
On January of 2014, the complainant requested additional
services, which we bid on. The complainant, via a phone call, informed us he
was going with another Sage 100 reseller. We do not know the scope,
recommendations or changes made to the system by the other reseller. Over one
year later the complainant informed us that he is unhappy with the way the
system is working. We are not responsible for the complainant not proceeding
with the recommendations we made back in January of 2014, nor the resulting
impact made by the other Sage 100 Reseller.
In summary, we were engaged to perform a Sage upgrade and
develop an inventory control program on a time and materials basis. These tasks
were completed. There was no dissatisfaction mentioned by the complainant at
the time as evidenced by the fact that they paid for all the work.  A request for quote to add features to
the Inventory control program already developed was requested. For the features
requested we quoted $5750 on Jan 30th 2014. The complainant Mr.
Swellinger called to inform us we lost the bid to another Sage 100 reseller. We
cannot be held responsible for the current state of his software as he did not
go with our recommendations and in fact had the work done (and potentially our
previous work altered) by someone else.
Sincerely,

Response to Chortek

First, we are talking about
two completely different jobs.  The first
was to up-grade to a new MAS 200 software for $7000 to $7500.  This work was completed.
The second job was to set up
Inventory and Purchase order management.
This was started on approximately 6/13/12 by [redacted].  By late 2013 it became apparent that [redacted],
while well-versed in MAS 200 software, did not understand manufacturing well
enough to finish the project.  At this
time [redacted] (partner) stepped in to help.  [redacted] was assigned to the finish the
project.
Because the job had taken so
long and was over budger, [redacted] sent me a quote for $5750 to finish the project.
After several weeks I called
[redacted] to find out when we would be starting.
[redacted] set-up a meeting at my office to inform me that [redacted] and [redacted] had
both left the company and would be unable to finish the project.  [redacted] said in the next few weeks he was hoping
to hire someone with the skills to finish the project.
After many weeks [redacted] called
to say he was unable to hire anyone to the finish the project.  Shortly thereafter [redacted] left the company.  This is why Badger Ham could not proceed with
the recommendations made by Chortek.
The reason I called [redacted] is because it will cost me more than $5750 to start someone new to
finish the project.  I did not think it
was right for them to get paid for a project not completed.  [redacted] informed me that I did not have a guaranteed
contract so they have no obligation to Badger Ham.  That may be legally correct, but it is not right!  If that is how they do business, that is fine
but I think people have the right to know how they operate.
