Hello *** *** , My name is LinnieI am the manager/owner of Chosun Korean BBq.I am writing back regarding to the complaint that's made on July 2nd of with an ID of ***.From what I understand about what happened that night was a misunderstanding from both sidesThe customers
and the server. I am sorry that one of my server was lacking on his part. Yes we were busy that night, we were short on staffsAs you know before we sat any customers down to our bbq table, we always ask them first if they had dine with us beforeFrom what I know, *** *** and her friends had dined with us few times beforeAfter they got their plate of bbq, one of the guy said they GOT ITWhen my server heard that, of course he will assumed they can cook for themselvesAs an owner, I was there that night and I did checked on *** tableI did asked if everything was okie, and they did said yesAfter or minutes later I came back out from the kitchen, a few regular customers that was sitting next to ***'s table told me that one of the guy from ***'s table was screaming and acting rude toward my serverI can understand why ***'s friends were upset because of my server's mistake, but was the screaming and finger pointing at my server necessary? ThenThat's when *** came up to the bar area and asked for a managerThat's when I talked to herI did apologized several timesI also asked her what can I do to make it better for her and her friendsI also asked my husband, which is the main chef, he came out to cook the steak for themHe also did apologized for what happened.Therefore after the service was done, the chef did asked again if everything was okie, and *** and her friends said" yes everything was okie and they did said thank you" to my husband. Giving a good service is what Chosun korean bbq is aiming forWe love every single customers, we appreciate each and everyone of our customersNot only because they dedicated their time and spending their hard earn money to the food at our restaurant.As for the server, I did talked to him and he's very much sorry about what happenedHe would be willing to apologize to *** and her friends! For the desired settlement, Because of one mistake my server made, I can't fired him. He had worked for Chosun korean bbq for years nowHe's very hard working and he works to support his parents. Because of one incident I cannot and will not fire himAs For myself, I will personally retrain all my servers again.Chosun Korean BBq we Don't accept any Refund once the customers have left the restaurant, I am sorry for the inconvenience!Linnie K**Owner/Chosun Korean BBq

I am rejecting this response because:What the manager(who is responding) said is not true, she just said what's good for her1.The server never check us if we had been here beforeNo one checked! However, I did have been there onceBut I never had that kind of meal, A huge steak! We cooked small size meat ourselves and never asked them for help cause we saw them really busy and we tried to understand themNo one checked us after we ordered our meal, even asked if we were okay.2.After we cook small size meat, the korean bbq cooking plate became really dirty and had a really bad burning smell! We asked the sever to replace a new one cause we think that burning is bad to our health! The server rejected us, telling us it's okay to keep cooking on that charring plate and that's what KOREAN PEOPLE USUALLY DO! We were confusedCould she explain about this plate?After he refused to replace a new cooking plate, we asked his help to cook the huge steakAnd he refused us again! He said: just put the whole steak on the plate and he left! But how to cut that huge steak? should we cut it before cooking or after cooking? He never came back againHe did not care about us and showed really bad attitudeThat's why we became angry and saying they need to help us in a louder sound, but not screaming! That's a mudslinging.4.I did ask to see the manager and he was really nice to say sorry to us and cooked the steak for usAnd he also said is not a good idea keep using that charring bbq plateBut the mistake was made by the server, why did not he come out himself? I think I did try to understand they were busy that nightBut what's really hurting me is their attitudeThey are giving me a kind of feeling like we are foreigners and they belittle usThey were really nice to the Americans who sat next to us, they cooked the meat for them, asking if they need anything else all the timeI did not ask the server helping us all the time, he could just give us a hint, tell us how to do it and that's all what I am asking for.
