transmission checked and the fluid was dark in color. If this had truly been a transmission that was recently installed, that would not have been the case. I had the transmission flushed and drove the car over the weekend. That Tuesday, the car jolted while shifting again and the mechanic checked the fluids to find them as dark as before. Once again, [redacted] disregarded the concern.  I was never informed that I could have taken it elsewhere for the issue. My mechanic and I were both told that nothing could be done without a code, per the warranty. I have recently called LKQ to ask if that were true. I was told, by a manager, that had [redacted] called in the problem , they would have replaced it without a code. It has just been over a year since [redacted]'s Auto installed the transmission and now I am having to purchase another one! Coincidentally, the failure is exactly what I had been complaining about from the beginning.  There were also codes that were cleared that would have been within the warranty mileage, PO757 & PO760. Both are components that have failed on the bad transmission that was installed and brought to the attention of [redacted]. It was made very clear to me that [redacted]'s Auto installed a bad transmission, it is reflected in the invoice for the new repair. I would like to be reimbursed. If he cared anything about customer satisfaction, he would have been a
lot more understanding with the situation. He never offered any type of
solution or help. [redacted] claims to care about integrity and honesty, this is not the reputation that I've since leaned about this shop.

Review: Within a month of purchasing a transmission through Chris's Auto, I returned because my car was not shifting properly. Chris assured me nothing was wrong. Over the course of a few months, I had returned a few times with the same concern. He claimed that he could not duplicate the problem. Anyone who drove the car could tell there was a shifting issue. The transmission went out completely while out of town with my kids. I was stuck in the middle of nowhere until 3am when a tow was available. The disappointment of a ruined vacation was nothing compared to the response that I received from the owner. Chris had an immediate attitude towards me. He was not willing to listen to what had happened. My warranty had expired and he refused to acknowledge any fault or concern. Chris is unwilling to replace the faulty transmission that his incompetent shop installed. He absolutely shows discrimination towards women. He commented often on how I'm looking at the situation as a woman and how, as a woman, I've blown 2 transmissions in a year. I contacted the manufacturer who said that if Chris had contacted them with my complaints, they would have replaced the transmission for free! This shop lacks integrity, takes advantage of women, and is not worthy of continuing to stay in business.Desired Settlement: Since Chris's Auto refuses to admit any fault or repair what should've been right in the first place, I'm forced to buy another transmission! I want $2700 reimbursed for the faulty transmission that was installed.
