Revdex.com,
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
To set the record straight I bought the motorhome from Mr [redacted] June 2nd 2014(and have the canceled check to prove it) not three years ago. I did have the coach on consignment with another dealer for three months(not almost a year) in Arizona where I bought my new couch, I could not drive two motorhomes back from Arizona at the same time so I left the older one there and flew to Arizona and picked up the old coach after we finished our trip. When I dropped the coach off at Mr [redacted]s lot in June 2015 I signed a paper stating that I would take a trade, I also left him the unsigned title. It was unsigned so I could approve or deny any trade that may be offered. On or about July 9th I stopped by Mr [redacted]s sales lot to see in there had been any interest in our motorhome. He said he had people wanting to trade two class C motorhomes plus $8000 for my coach, he said he would pay me the $8000 and split the profit from the sale of the two class C motorhomes. I told him I just wanted my money. A few days later I called Mr [redacted] inquiring about my money, he said "that deal fell through, you can't count on anything until it is a done deal". August 21st I went to Mr [redacted]s sale lot after noticing our coach was not there, Mr [redacted] told he he had just sold my motorhome the previous week and invested his money and mine in a class A coach that he thought would sell very soon for $32,000 and when it sold he would pay me $16,000. Again I told him I just want my money. After leaving his lot I went to the Moses Lake Police dept. and filed a complaint against Mr [redacted] and for the first time I found out my coach had sold July 9th. I returned to Mr [redacted]s lot August 24th again asking for my money, Mr [redacted] said that the class A had sold but for only $25,000 and the check was on a five hold at his bank and as soon as the funds were released August 28th he would pay me. That is when Mr [redacted] followed me to my car very upset, kicking rocks, pointing at me and yelling. I am 60 years old and disabled, Mr [redacted] is a lot younger and in a lot better shape than myself so I didn't want any physical confrontation with him so I called him August 29th. At first he said his bank was not open, then he would not answer the phone, that was when I filed this complaint. He called me later that day wanting my address and said he had a certified check he was mailing to me that day. Not trusting him and now knowing he had broken several laws I called Washington DOL and filed a complaint. Sept 1st a state investigator called me and I told him my story, he said he would call Mr [redacted] that day. Latter that day Mr [redacted] called me saying he had mailed the certified check to the wrong address and he needed my address again. Sept. 4th the investigator called me a said Mr [redacted] had told him there was no consignment and that he had bought my motorhome and refused to turn over any paper work the the investigator. He also said he had received a copy of a check for $12,000 made out to me. Sept. 5th I received a check in the mail(not certified like I had been told) from Mr [redacted]s business. I immediately took the check to Mr [redacted]s credit union and tried to cash it, the account was NFS. Sept. 8th I took the check to the credit union four time each time it was NFS. Sept. 8th Mr [redacted] txt me several times, one time he would say "the money is there" the next time he would tell me the money isn't there and I needed to wait another two days until his bank released funds. He went so far in telling me how hard up he is that he said"you have to realize I have four kids to raise and that includes a newborn baby". Late afternoon I received a txt from Mr [redacted] saying the money is now in the bank so "hurry up and cash the check before any thing else goes wrong" his next txt was "NOW BOB'. The sixth time I took the check to the bank it was cashed. Mr [redacted] has told so many lies and different stories to different people he is not to be trusted. The difference between my side of the events and his is that I can prove what I say is true, and he refuses to turn over document. I have my money so it is in the hands of Moses Lake Police Dept who I am [redacted]ating with fully for fraud, forgery, and felony by bad check. In Mr [redacted]s txt messages and voice mails (I have record of all of them) to me he incriminates his self and at the same time still blames me because he got caught.

Robert M[redacted]

I am absolutely shocked at the accusations imposed by Mr. M[redacted].This motorhome is one that we previously sold to Mr. M[redacted] nearly 3 years ago. What he failed to include, was that he had had it for sale for almost a year to another dealership. He stated he would exept...

trades and was very desperate to get rid of the motor home. I spoke with Mr. M[redacted] on my property, July 9, the day that his motorhome was sold, I told him we traded it in on two other motorhomes plus an additional amount of $8000. At that time we gave him $6000 and he gave me the signed title. It was explained to Mr. M[redacted], the other two vehicles were older and harder to sell quickly and that he would get the profit proceedings from them when they did sell which would total $12,500. He gave me a verbal go-ahead to do so. Now, according to Mr. M[redacted], we simply were taking too long to sell the other two vehicles, since he saw one of the two had sold. He then proceeded to demand all of his money right now, even threatened he would physically  assault me if I didn't comply. I explained to Mr. M[redacted] that buyers were considering buying the remaining vehicle that weekend and would have the rest of his money then. Just as our agreement was when we spoke prior. This is when he started stomping around like a child and yelling in the parking lot not only in front of my employees, but customers deciding on a vehicle purchase. The couple stepped back and the expensive vehicle in question, fell through as they drove away. I assured Mr. M[redacted] that I would have the remaining amount the following week.  This apparently was not good enough, he threatened to go to the vehicle dealer investigator and tell him I did not pay him at all for a consignment and that he did not provide me with a title. Which was not the case, for we had already bought his motor home for $6000 in agreement to pay an additional six. Mr. M[redacted] seemed to have sellers' remorse, feeling he did not get enough for his vehicle. His accusations are completely false and fabricated Mr. M[redacted] has received nearly $18,500 for his vehicle, and I was forced to pay him another 12,500 along with the $6000 he's already received. The only thing that I am in the wrong for is not getting a written agreement from Mr. M[redacted] about what we talked about. Now he is milking this as far as he can, to gain a profit. We thought Mr. M[redacted] was a good client and trusted he would be better to work with, since we had done business in the past. This apparently was not the case. I paid the amount of $12,500 to Mr. M[redacted], September 8th. And only wish this could have been resolved in a simpler way.

Review: Chris Cooper owner of this business failed to meet his obligation to complete paid services and parts. He ordered parts for my trailer which were wrong. He could not finish the job started due that he could not have the bearing pressed. I had to take the hub with me to have pressed later on our trip. When finally able to have the job finished I was told the hub was the wrong one. Chris solution was for me to call where he bought the hub instead taking care of it his self not my job. I emailed him with no return response. I then called him and he would take it back. I asked for a shipping number. Since we are in Oregon and he is in WA. His response was he would not pay for the shipping and hung up on me.Desired Settlement: Due he failed to order the right hub not my fault. He should pay the shipping and return my money for the hub and labor I paid him for.

Business

Response:

Our first encounter with Mr. [redacted] was when he had made an appointment to install a backing plate and adjust brakes on trailer. As Mr. [redacted] and wife waited for appointment to be completed, it was determined upon inspection that one brake was not working properly and making noticeable noise. This would need to be replaced instead of just the assumed adjustment. Mr. [redacted] then informed us that he must leave that Sunday. only leaving a couple of days to order parts that normally take average one week to arrive. We rushed to order a new hub and had it overnighted to us from a distributor, on a count of the condition of his bad brake and timely schedule. We only charged for the brake adjustment and shipping which totaled, $253.00. When the hub arrived we learned that it had not been pressed in. Because it was already a Saturday there were not any shops in town that had the right equipment to do the press that day. He then called and demanded we come out on a service call to where they had been staying, and reinstall the old hub (bad brake) at no charge. Which for a service call we charge $130.00. Mr. [redacted] said he would then have the new hub pressed somewhere else along his trip. We agreed to do this at no charge. We only found out that the wrong hub was ordered after Mr. [redacted] left Sunday, Had he waited until Monday morning this would have been resolved and refunded before hand. We received a phone call from Mr. [redacted] stating he wanted the refund for the hub and shipping. We offered to refund the hub, but not the shipping because he should have waited till Monday. Labor was never mentioned during any conversations. Mr. [redacted] was aware that we didn't charge to reinstall old hub, or for the original brake inspection. Not only did we go over and above for this gentlemen, but charged him much less than we should have. After his complaint was filed through Revdex.com, we received an email from him stating, he now wants a check for $90.00 for the hub. We will be sending him that check in the mail.

Review: I took my motorhome in to fix the generator and they messed it up even worst the air conditioner doesn't work the generator won't even start inside start button doesn't work at all did before start button on outside sticks they screwed it up badlyDesired Settlement: I want them to replace the whole generator and pay for the cost to have it put in an fixed right

Response:

As the owner of Chris Cooper's I-90 R.V., I disagree with the outlandish acusations in the report. This particular customer came to my business with the request of evaluating his [redacted] 5000 generator. The generator would start and then shut off, only after a few seconds. The customer actually turned to his wife and asked if she could remember which set of screws he had adjusted. As I attempt to start the generator again, we found that the switch was sticking in the on position. Meaning the circuit board needs to be replaced because the switch and board are one in the same. The part would take some time to be delivered, so the customer's motor home was on our lot, locked for a couple of days. With only one other empoloyee and myself going inside to move it.The circuit board arrived and we ran the generator for a solid hour or more. The customer's came to pick up the motor home the next day. The customer's then proceeded to run the generator as they got ready to leave and pay. The bill came to $211 for the board, and $100 for an hours worth of labor. It ran for almost 30 minutes then died in the parking lot. The customer became very upset, so I personally looked at it and found that the generator and board had a loose gain connection. I apologized, offered to try and fix it and explained why it had died like it did. He stated we hadn't fixed anything and wasted his time. I politely offered to take the new cicuit board out and wave the labor bill. He declined this offer to take it out and demanded his old part back. I gave him his old part, as well as his keys and waved the labor fee. Only charging for the ordered circuit board. He stormed out and stated we would hear form him soon, after argueing with me over the whole matter. The proceeding day, the customer's wife called the main office and told our secretary that there were tools missing, accusing us of stealing, and ransacking the bedroom. The gentleman also rudely demanded reimbursment on the other phone line. I assured him that neither I or the other techs had taken an item out of anywhere, and that know one had gone into the back bedroom. There is 24/7 security on the premisses. I also explained, that the compartment door locks on motor homes can have master keys to unlock and anyone, anywhere could open them. The customer began to state, that I owed him $4,000 for the tools that were missing. Although his complaint states that we owe him $4,000 for a new generator. He also states that we were liable for every one of his knieve statements, because it was at our place of business. We never received another complaint about the actual generator, fridge, or have the option to and fix it. Then all of a sudden this complaint emerges, and were taken completely off guard.I've been in this industry for 8 years now, I believe he has no right to accuse me of these resolvable issues. Especially since he stated I owed him for the missing tools. Then now it's that I owe him for a new generator. Not only does this seem like a scam but I see no reason to treat others doing you a service in that behavior. Customer's like this, seemed to have forgotten that we are here to help and fix problems. To go as far as he has with this, is quiet unnerving to my employees and I. Especially since we would have gladly tried to fix it, had the chance came up. As of now, there would be no way or viable reason for us to buy a new generator and install it for free.My business and all my employees strive to have business return. There has been an abundance of satisfied customers' come back for service, or even just to chat. I'm apolled this customer has made it seem that we do any bad business, or are untruthful about any situation. Especially this incident with his generator. The last encounter I had with him, he did not mention a refrigerator problem, or any other issue with the motor home. In conclusion, this complaint and request is unreliable and quiet outlandish to say the least. The disrespect towards everyone apart of this business, was very unappreciated and will not be catered to.

Review: During June 2015 I place a motorhome on consignment with Chris C[redacted]. When I dropped my motorhome off I signed a single form stating I wanted $12,500 and left the unsigned title with him. August 21 2015 I drove through the RV lot early in the morning and my motorhome was not on the lot. Later that day I stopped and talked with Mr C[redacted], he said he had sold my motorhome the previous week and used the money to purchase a more expensive motormore that he though would sell right away for $32,000 and when it sold he would pay me $16,000. At that time I went to the Moses Lake police dept and filed a complaint. The officer checked DOL and found out that my title had been transferred July 9, 2015. Three days later I returned to the rv lot asking for my $12,500 and Mr C[redacted] said he had sold the more expensive coach and the check was on hold at his bank for five days. Mr C[redacted] became very agitated to the point of following me to my car, kicking gravel pointing his finger and yelling at me. It is now five days later, I talked to Mr C[redacted] at 9:00 am he said his bank had not opened. It is now 11:00 am I have tried calling him twice more and he won't answer his phone. According to Washington State law Mr. C[redacted] had 10 days from the date my motorhome sold until I had my money, this should have been no later then July 19, 2015. It should also be noted that Mr C[redacted] signed off my title with out my authorization. Mr C[redacted] has broken several laws listed under RCW 46.70.028.Desired Settlement: I want Mr Cooper to pay me $12,000. Also according to the law he needs to provide me a copy of the purchase agreement between him and the buyer of my coach. He also owes me interest from July 19 till the day I get paid.
