This person [redacted] was recommendated by [redacted] and came on Monday Jan 11 to start working. We agreed on power washing the ranch house for $99 and driveway for $40. He asked for me to write a check Monday afternoon but he only finished carport. We agreed on adding front and back porch plus shed/ mail box along with house and driveway for $200. He said my water pressure is not good enough and need to come back tomorrow. I told him the work needs to be done before Wednesday Jan 13 before 3:00pm and he was fully aware of it. I trusted him and wrote him the check. He didn't show up on Tuesday. I called him Wednesday morning at 7:38 and 9:50am to remind him of the deadline was before 3:00pm. He said he would be there in 20 minutes. I called again at 10:56am he said he was caught up by something and will be there in 5 minutes. At 11:15am he didn't show up and I had to call again to restate the time line and work that needs to be done. At 1:00pm, [redacted] showed up. When I arrived at the house around 3:00pm, [redacted] was gone. The house was washed but the brick was full of dirt and green color still. From porch had water, it looked at it was washed a little bit. Side porch at the back hadwater but was very dirty still. The entire back porch didn't even have water. I called and he didn't answer the phone. Texted me: the machine had a problem and I had to check the machine. He finally answered the phone and telling me $200 is not enough to do the work. I said you have already cashed my check and please finish whatever left. He said tomorrow but never showed up on Thursday. I complained to [redacted] for refund of some my money so I can hire someone else. Never heard from [redacted] again. This person kept on saying I'll take care of it and on time. They are all lies I believed. Business like this should have consequences.Desired SettlementSome of my $200 back for the back porch he didn't even started.
