Review: Contractor used inferior materials designed for landscaping to begin building foundation for addition to home. Contractor was paid in October of the foundation but hadn't installed it wihin 4 months. Contractor took other jobs first waited until the weather was too poor to build with cement, even though he had a deposit for the work. Contractor received a second deposit around 1/2 way through foundation saying he would return the the next Monday. Contractor did not return to work for 6 weeks. No call. when confronted he lied.Desired Settlement: Ten thousand was given as deposit. 5 was for the foundation )in a contract) and the other 5 thousand was to be used towards building the addition. Since the foundation is incomplete and built with inferior materials and the other work was never commenced returning 5 thousand should not be an issue. No work as contracted was ever performed, due to the multiple delays caused by the contractor poor management and planning.I want only 1/2 back or 5 thousand to put towards a deposit on a builder.

Review: Chris of all Trades accepted 75% of an estimate for a new construction job. The took other work. He told me he'd be here to work 1st thing Monday morning and then came at noon to collect equipment he was storing in my yard. Confronted he threw a fit. He pick up cinder blocks threw them through the air breaking several. Left trash and debris behind. Failed to complete the contract he wrote and kept 10000 in cash with he told me afterwards he is not reporting as earnings to the IRS. He is a cheat as a contractor and into tax evasion, drug dealing and other illegal business. I will take him to court but feel he should have his license to operate a business in Delawre suspended pending investigation.Desired Settlement: 10000
