I have tried hard not to go on here because I really don't like all the negativity online these days but I do have to voice my concerns. I had Geiger do siding on my house and they started a month and a half after they said they would. However, I was fine with it as long as they did a good job and the price seemed reasonable. (in the middle of other quotes). The installation team left my yard a mess of nails, insulation, and cigarettes every day. I have a dog so the nails were a major concern. However, again I didn't complain. I just cleaned up after them every night. Then my water meter sensor was broken. I didn't complain because mistakes can happen. Then after 4 days of work they said they were done. On inspection there were 5 large gaps in the siding/molding around the windows and many of the nails on the window molding and caulking wasnt complete. I also couldnt open my crank out kitchen window because the molding wasn't cut right. So this time, I did call them back out and voiced my concerns. Most were fixed (the window molding nails I pounded in myself). However since then (2 years)I have had siding blow off my house 6 times. 4 times not so bad but the other 2 I had to call them back because I couldn't reach where it happened. The second time I asked them to come back (just last month) they said it was all fixed and said "i didn't have to get nasty" on the phone when I said "I am kind of getting sick of the siding blowing off my house." But I dropped it. Well, Now I am writing this because since they came out to put siding back on my house it looks like they hit my lower siding with what I assume was the extension ladder and now I have a fist sized hole in my siding. So now I have awful looking duct tape on my house because no extras siding was left for me when the job was complete. So, I have finally decided to write a review. I think I have been very patient and tempered over this whole experience. I even liked the guys personally. But at this point I am pretty disappointed and don't feel I got the service I paid for . This was a lot of money for me and expected better. Now I am worried this crack/hole will expand in the cold or heat and become bigger. And the tape looks awful and probably won't keep water out. But an average person can't order the dame siding color/product to replace the newest problem piece.
