Review: I contracted All About Buildings ([redacted]) on June 26, 2014 for $23,000 to replace a sidewalk in front of two houses that I own in New Brunswick. Additionally there was a $2,000 deposit given to them on 6/26/14 (16 mos ag) to be "held with the City until the job was complete". The job was completed in October and to date my $2,000 has never been returned. I have repeatedly contacted [redacted] from All About Buildings with regard to the $2,000 they still owe me and he has come up with various explanations for why they dont have the $$ or they expect it soon if "a customer pays us...".Desired Settlement: I want my $2,000 plus interest for 16 mos, plus additional $250 for my time to take this company to Small Claims Ct. total $2,750.

Review: Chris and Rick Thorn own a masonry business also called All About Buidlings - on 6/26/14, I gave Rick a $800 as an initial payment followed by $26,000 and contractred his firm to replace sidewalks in front of two investment properties that I own - [redacted]. Part of the $26,000 I paid was $2,000 for security deposit with City of New Brunswick "that would be returned to me once the work was complete"per Rick Thorne. The work was completed in the Fall of 2014 and despite repeated requests, my $2,000 has never been returned to me. Rick has come up with a 100 different stories about where the $$ is - saying they are waiting for a customer to pay them etc etc - and finally just ignored me and my wife's inquiries. He has had my $2,000 for 16 months and I intend to sue him in small claims court and make sure all of Central NJ knows of this behavior.Desired Settlement: I want $2,750 payment - $2,000 + interst for a year and a half plus processing fees and my time to pursue
