Customer test drove and decided to purchase the vehicleThey asked for our opinion on the vehicle and we suggested a newer vehicle which may have been a better choice for themThis was a 16-year old vehicle they purchased and was fine during
the test drive and on the lotWe cannot control when parts break on older vehicles that's why there are repair shops and parts stores on every cornerVehicle was sold as is and they signed a "we owe" that stated all sales are final - nothing owed and no refundsI'm aware they had a problem shortly after the purchase of the vehicle and we paid half of the fuel pump repair while under no legal obligation to do so according to Minnesota statuteIt does not give us any pleasure knowing that one of our customers is having problems with a vehicle they purchased from usI found a mechanic to fix the intake gasket, for $225-which is roughly half of the going rateIf this is satisfactory, the owner can contact me directly and I will provide the name and number of a mechanicPlease note the delay in response due to me being out of the country for weeksThank you
