Only Ad that was found customer responded to was "Fall Special" which ad stated pricing expired September 30, 2015, machine was picked up early March for serviceWhen arrived to pick up tractor a current up to
date price sheet was handed to customer and it explained what the 150$ service included for a lawn tractor, it was also explained to customerIt stated it covered up too quarts of hydro fluid (flyer will be attached to response), one oil filter and ectThe hydro system held 7qts and customer was charged for quartsThe tractor had a no start issueCustomer was told it could take up hr and more of labor to properly diagnose the no start issueProblem was hacked up wiring, wiring harness was dragging on the ground and we found many shorts, which possible burned up the expensive key switch (cub part 48.70)The labor rate was 45mins for repair and in partsDoing the full service we also found dry rotted fuel line which was leaking gasWe replaced the 8$ in parts and .5hr in laborCustomer handed us a battery which was a John Deere battery (cub cadet tractors some times come with John Deere labeled battery's, as they both are made in the same factory's) which was marked with a tag with customers name to make sure it did not get mixed upWe tested the battery that was in the tractor, tested badThen we tested the spare battery which was on charge all winter, it tested 9volts and bad cellYou can charge a bad battery for a year it's still a bad batteryWhen we called the customer to tell him the service was done we offered to replace battery at our cost, customer deniedWe also made customer aware that the deck belt needed replaced because it was about to break, customer denied repair and said he had belt at his house and that he could fix itAt this point tractor ran and started up with a jump (had to jump battery due to the bad battery in it), hr before delivery we had done a final test run of unit to make sure all repair were good, and the deck belt had finally gave away and brokeBelt was left on deck and could clearly see that it had snapped, It was not cutOn the bill we helped out and gave the customer the proper belt numberWe also gave customer a free pick up and delivery of unit (80.00$ value)Upon delivery customer felt hostile and put off as he was not going to pay the billWe said that if he did not want to pay bill we could keep the tractor for even tradeCustomer then settled attitude and listen to the technician as he walked him through the service pointing out what was done, we even pointed that we extracted a broken bolt out of the head (30min) that was not chargedBecause our repair shop goes above and beyondThe bill came to in parts and in labor including our set service price of Our prices are very reasonable compared to other shops and we believe in honesty and helping out the average working family as we ourWe we're honest about the repairs and told the customer that he could save money by using a alternative hydro oil instead of the cub cadet oil which is 17.00$ a quartWe told the customer that he could save money by buying a battery him self because our shop doesn't have great battery pricing, and we saved the customer money by not just replacing the broken belt because he already had one
We feel our shop had gone above and beyond on his 300$ cub cadet which he said a tree fell on, we gave free piand delivery, we shaved some labor rates off, and we saved some money by shopping around to find the best price on the expensive cub cadet key switch, and we also helped by using a alternative hydro oilWe feel that customer does not deserve any money returned because we went gave such great pricing (anyone that has had equipment worked on knows this), we helped out tremendously on parts, labor and piand deliveryAnd customer was full aware of all problems before we delivered tractorWe can not help that customer denied some repairs, resulting in a none functioning tractor because of the bad battery, and broken belt

I did respond so it wasn't closed,,,,but closed anyways I seeNow at this point the mower wont run longer than min before it diesMaybe Chris's repair believes this is just a nice resting time,,,but I do have an acre, was assured how great my engine and drive system were,,,but at hrs...just a few more than after his repair,,,it wont do the jobHard to believe it cost me double to have a mower that wont work and he claims its good...This isn't right by any means
I looked up the bill,,,,there were hrs on machine when I got it back,,,so hrs ad it wont run,,,it did backfire pretty good though, from the time I got it back till it died,,,but, as Chris said, I a good solid running machine and should plenty of use out of it....well as we see, that didn't happenAt this point wish I would have let mim keep it,,,gotta just luv trying to help a young start up, but to bad he just doesn't have the drive to back his work or word

Customer emailed me and said I must buy mower or else he was going to slander my business and Sue meCustomer said my work (wiring) was causing it to back fireI had told customer that if it was my work that was causing the problem I would warranty any work I had doneAll's he had to do was get the mower to me or pay my delivery feeCustomer never responded and decided to file a complaintI back all my work as long as it hasn't been tampered with by anyone elseAt this point there is nothing further I can do unless he brings mower to meThe fact customer threatens me and demanded me to buy mower or else he was going to sue meThis shows what kind of customer MrP*** is
