I spoke with [redacted] of Chrisabethella Catering and decided to use them to cater my college graduation lunch on May 14, It was held at the [redacted] location in Chapel Hill, NC, inside of the [redacted] I had tasted the food a few weeks prior at the main location on Franklin Street and I loved itHowever, [redacted] and her horrible business practices made my graduation lunch a horrible disaster Firstly, I was supposed to have my lunch in the patio area of the restaurant but instead it was in the main dining roomSecondly, [redacted] , the person I had been in contact with for weeks about the luncheon was nowhere to be foundInstead, ***, the bar manager, was left in charge after she said [redacted] had asked her to cover for her the night beforeIn addition to ***, there was one person working in the kitchen We had orders placed and only came outNot only that, but the orders were not correctAlmost all of the plates were the wrong combinationsTo make it even worse, the food wasn't hot [redacted] kept trying to call [redacted] who would not answer the phoneShe also showed me the messages on her phone where [redacted] sent her the list of orders and there were only orders on the listShe instead called the owner of [redacted] The owner went to his Franklin Street location and drove to the location we were at in an attempt to rectify the situationHowever, after over an hour of waiting and the food arriving, the food orders were still incorrectIt was ridiculous (and I do not blame the owner in any way, this was [redacted] 's fault)Instead of enjoying the following hours after my graduation, I was stressed trying to make sure my graduation party was happy, and they were not Remember: We ordered plates for people and only came out [redacted] told us that we would hear back from [redacted] or the owner the following MondayWe heard from no one at allMy parents and I reached out to [redacted] to explain how extremely dissatisfied we were with the service, the food, and the lack of remorse on her part for making my graduation luncheon a disappointment After having to receive emails from my parents and myself, [redacted] finally responded by saying that "all of the food you ordered had been sent out and you received all of the plates that you orderedWe will not be able to provide you with a refund because you accepted all of the plates." Again, we ONLY received out of plates and the majority of those were incorrectly platedMany of my guests did not eat!! Her pitiful excuse of rectifying the situation was this: "I would like to provide you with a $gift card valid at our restaurantPlease reply with your mailing address so I can have one mailed to you as soon as possible." Ms [redacted] thought this was an appropriate response after my family had already paid a depositNot only that, but without my father's permission, she charged the rest of the bill to his credit cardWe paid almost $for horrible service from businesswoman who cared more about the money going into her pocket than making sure I would have a memorable graduation dayInstead of being able to look back on a good time, my family and I are still in the process of having the charge refunded I have all of the emails that have our exchange, the final food orders of THIRTY PLATES, and the invoice PDFI have no problem showing anyone Please stay clear of Chrisabethella Catering and [redacted] You will be extremely disappointed

Great food and excellent serviceI would highly recommend!

Chrisabethella Catering catered my wedding last week and they were amazing! All of their staff was very professional and did everything from start to finishThey cleaned the entire venue and I did not have to pay the venue clean up fee because Chrisabethella did it all!
They food was delicious and many of my guests commented on the foodEverything was fresh and the presentation was very impressive
The balsamic chicken was my absolute favoriteThe herb potatoes were very buttery and the string beans were freshYou can definitely tell that this company puts in 100% effort in everything they doMy guests and I were very happy!

Great company to work with. They provided all the rentals and food for my daughter's wedding. Very affordable and they genuinely cared for our event. Service was above and beyond and they included many nice gestures like plating the dinner for our elderly family. They will not disappoint!

She also showed me the messages on her phone where [redacted] sent her the list of orders and there were only 18 orders on the list. She instead called the owner of [redacted].

The owner went to his Franklin Street location and drove to the location we were at in an attempt to rectify the situation.
