I took my truck to this guy to tint my windows and this is the worst window tint job I have ever seen. There are bubbles and tiny particles all over my windows. I've taken it to him 3 times now and he still hasn't gotten it right. First time was for him to do the tint job. Second time was for him to fix the crooked sunstrip he put on the truck and to remove some of the big bubbles that were in my windows which he did not do. Third time was for him to redo the whole truck. My tint is now not sticking on the back windows and sliding rear window. I asked for my money back before he redone the tint job and he said he didn't give money back and that he makes it right. I even told him just to strip it and keep the money. He would not. However, I gave him the benefit of the doubt and let him complete the redo. I sat there for 5 hours. Not to mention he left window tint clippings all over my truck and got dirt from his shoes all over the inside of my truck the first time around and didn't bother to clean it out. He also let the water he sprayed on the tint go all over my door panels and dash. He wasn't even there when I went to pick the truck up the first time as well, his dad was. He also left in the middle of the redo to take another car back to a customer and left me sitting there for 30 minutes. He now has my hard earned $139.00 in his pocket and I'm left with bad tint that I'm going to have to pay someone else to take off and tint it again. Also he doesn't take a credit/debit card even though he has it on his door that he does. The next day *** said he would have to charge me tax if he wrote out a receipt. I called him on 5-4-20 and asked him for my money back again and for him to remove the tint so he doesn't think I'm wanting something for free. He again refused a refund and said I was being hard to get along with. Said he would fix it like before. He's had 3 attempts and failed each time. I have pictures to show it. He should make this right by giving me back my money. My time is valuable.

Let me give a brief description of my background. I have tinted windows for 32 years now. I have worked on over 20,000 cars. Just google Chris's tinting. See what you find? I go above and beyond to make the customer satisfied. By now the internet would be full of complaints if I was as bad as Mr. said. Mr. is completely unreasonable. I will further extend on that. I removed & replaced every window on his vehicle with him standing beside me approving. I offered him to come in at any time of the day so he would not miss work & also go to his house so he would not lose gas money. He could still not be made happy. The question is, how can I make 20,000 + people happy & this 1 boy say it is the worst window tint he has ever seen? It makes you wonder if a whole career of people under my belt is wrong, or is this 1 boy experiencing buyer's remorse?
Here is where it all started. I received a call from Mr., he stated his windshield strip was crooked. I said maybe, come on up & let's take a look at it. We measured it & it was a half inch off. I said, let's go ahead & change that. I removed the strip of tint & had *** involved in lining the new 1 up. We measured to 1/16th of an inch. Mr. also knew his windshield was installed crooked. He left satisfied. Mr. contacted me & said there were some places he wanted me to look at, in his tint. I said sure, come up about 1:30. He said he would get off earlier to be there earlier & I said no let's plan on 2. He came early anyway at 12 asking for his money back. I said I have not even looked at your vehicle & I will at 2, we, me & you together will make this right. I will work with you on your vehicle until you are happy with the job. Mr. came back at 2. We simultaneously went over every single window with him by my side. I removed and replaced every single window 3 times until he was satisfied. I would not move on to the next window until he gave me the okay. I said that it would take at least a week to a week and a half to dry. He calls me back in 2 days and said there are bubbles and he's not happy. The window film is installed with water and the water will not dry when it is close to freezing 32 F or raining. This was the case through the whole experience he would not let the film completely dry. Mr. also said I cannot afford to come to you. I said where do you live, he said why? I told him no problem I will come to you & that was not the answer he wanted. By the way he always wanted his money back. I was always taught though out my whole life to do the best, be the best that you can ever be and be the best to other people that you always will be. Although in life there are some people that can never be made happy. I feel very good that I made 20,000 + people very happy.

I do not accept this response. I am not being hard to get along with. He has had three attempts to do my windows. There is absolutely no way this guy has done 20000 car windows. As I stated before, read his google reviews. Most of them are from people with only 1 review on their accounts. They made a google account to specifically leave him a review. Chris *** works under the table and more than likely offered them some sort of discount if they left him a review, just like how he only takes cash and doesn't take a card although it is advertised on his door that he does. Now back to his response. The sunstrip was way off when he put it on the first time. I had family members and coworkers even notice it. I had a lot of bubbles after he did it the first time as well. There were also uneven cuts with the window tint and pieces of tint all over the interior of my car that he left and a lot of dirt that he had gotten in my truck. I was not happy. He was not even there when I went to pick up my truck. His dad came out and said that he only took cash. I was with a family member and they offered to write out a check to pay them and me pay her back. Chris's dad took the check. I sent *** a text that night asking him if he would fix the sunstrip and bubbles the next day and he said to be there the next morning. I told him that I could not be there the next morning because I had to work but mentioned I could be there around 1:30. Before I arrived I told him not to cash the check if he hadn't already and I would bring him the cash instead. I arrived the next day and he was disrespectful about the whole situation. He said he wasn't going to touch the bubbles but he would do the sunstrip. He cut a new sunstrip and it was straighter than the previous one but it was still off and you could see it by looking at it. I never once received an apology for the inconvenience. He said that was as close as he could get it. As I was leaving I noticed that he made uneven cuts with the tint around my headliner and around the gopro camera mount. It looked like a two year old had cut it with paper scissors. I turned around to drive back but he had already left. I waited over a week and still had the big bubbles in my windows. I even sought out the opinion of two other local tint shops who said that there should not be any bubbles after a few days let alone a whole week. I called *** and told him I wasn't happy with this tint job and he said that he would fix it but it would be the following week. I called him on X-XX-XX and he said it would be X-XX-XX before he could fix it. I arrived on Tuesday X-XX-XX around 12:30 with the same family member that I had with me last time. When *** came out I told him I was not happy for having to come back and that I just wanted my money back and the tint removed. He refused and said that he would not give my money back but he would fix it. He told me to come back around 2:00 because he had to eat or he was going to lose his sanity. I was advised by family not to go back but I gave him the benefit of the doubt and took it back to him. Again, before he started the redo, I asked him for my money back and to remove the tint. He again said no. I then said fine, keep the money, just remove the tint and he would not do that either. So I sat there for 5 hours waiting on him to redo the tint. He even left in the middle of the redo to take a car back to another customer and left me sitting there for 30 minutes. He redid all of the windows and the sunstrip. I did not give him the ok before going on to each window as he said in his response. There were still bubbles in the tint but I gave it a week to dry and after a week with the bubbles still there, I sent him a text telling him I still wasn't happy and that I wanted my money back. By this time the tint was coming off my sliding rear window and on the passenger side extended cab windows. The bubbles were also still there and the front windows were cut unevenly around the edges and top. There was also a crease in the driver window at the bottom. I called him and he said he wouldn't give my money back but he would come to me. I told him I didn't want him back in my truck because he has had three attempts and messed up each time and that my time is valuable. He told me I was being unreasonable to which I then responed that I was not. The following day I sent him a text that said " I'm getting ready to go to the Revdex.com with a complaint. Before I do, I wanted to give you another chance to refund my money or at least $100. I work hard for my money and giving back my money so I can just go to another tint shop would make this right." He then responded with "At least a week and a half for everything to take place in the window tint you have not done that. If you want to go to the Revdex.com bet your choice I think we could have fun." That showed his true character. It's been over 3 weeks now since the redo and the bubbles are still there and the tint is still coming off the sliding rear window and back doors. My passenger side window also makes a squeaky noise when rolling the window down because the tint is sticking to it. All I want is my money back or at least $100 of it so I can go to another shop and have the tint removed and replaced. I honored my word that I would bring him the cash after telling him to hold onto the check. Now he has my money and refuses to make this right. By the way ***, I am not a "boy" as you referred to me in your response. I am a man, a man who wants his hard earned money back because you did a terrible job on my truck. Also, my front windshield is not crooked nor has my truck been in a wreck. I took my truck back to the place that put in the replacement windshield and they checked it and said no it was not crooked. I also took my truck to a body shop and had them look at it to see if it had been in a wreck and they said no it had not. *** was trying to deflect from his mistake with the window tint and try and put it off on my truck being the problem. As to him blaming the weather? Why did he do the tint if he knew it would mess up the quality of the job? He could've had me reschedule for a later date. *** I'm giving you another opportunity to make this right. I want my hard earned money back. All of this could've been avoided if you would've just given me back my money when I originally asked for it back. You know this has nothing to do with "Buyer's Remorse". You know you did a subpar job on my truck. You never once denied messing it up. Give me back my money and let this be over.
