Christensen technician stripped the oil pan plug and put back the oil pan plug and in putting the plug back stripped the plug and oil leaked in the home garage floor and took the car back and the technician did the same thing over again.Product_Or_Service: oil and filter changedOrder_Number: [redacted]Desired Settlement Would like to know why the technician did not put in a new oil pan plug.Business Response This is the first that I have heard of this.We apologize for any inconvenience. We would be more than happy to correct the concern. There is a chance that the threads in the oil pan may be damaged from removing the drain plug threw out the years, which may be able to be cleaned and a new drain plug put in.This oil change was done 10/3/2013.We would like a chance to look at the vehicle to correct any issues at hand. Consumer Response (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)I have taken my car to a reputable business to correct the issue and I would like the full refund amount Final Business Response Christensen Automotive is willing to give the customer a full refund if she can provide documents stating the problem with the vehicle and the correction that was made. Please contact our office with any questions or concernsTHANK YOU

I have a [redacted] F150 Pickup which blew out a spark plug. Christensen Auto quoted me 927.16 to repair it over the phone, which I authorized. When I picked up the truck, they gave me a 24 month nationwide warranty. Never in the phone call or when I picked it up did they mention it might not work, they gave me a warranty. The truck ran fine for two months , then the spark plug blew again. I took it in for the warranty and was informed they would not honor that warranty, I need to spend another $2,000 dollars for a cylinder head. Seeing this as a bait-and-switch, I demanded my money back. They refunded 255.62 of my 927.16, saying that was all that was relevant to my repair, which was all I took in in for. The rest of the money was for tune-up parts. I can do a tune-up myself and would never have authorized them to do a tune-up, but on the phone all they told me was it would cost 927.16 to repair my truck. Never was a tune-up authorized, and and they charged me nearly $700 for work I never authorized, and they never fixed the problem I took it in for. Now I am out $700 for work I never authorized, I can't afford to fix my truck thanks to that, and they got $700 from from me for parts and labor I did not authorize. Also, this is my work truck which I can no longer use, and I'm forced to drive my antique convertible until I can get this resolved.Product_Or_Service: Repair of blown out spark plugOrder_Number: [redacted]Desired SettlementI took the truck in for a repair, not maintenance. They did not honor their warranty on that repair, but charged me for work and parts I did not authorize. I would like a full refund of $671.54, since this would equal what they told me, and later charged me for repairing the blown spark plug, since their warranty is apparently useless.Business Response Mr [redacted] vehicle was repaired at no charge on 3-18-15 he was also refunded cylinder head repair from prior visit. Mr [redacted] wanted refund on spark plug replacement that was authorized on prior visit we declined to refund this repair.we believe this was a fair offer as his truck has been repaired for no charge and he was refunded for initial repair.Consumer Response (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)The initial quote, presented to me as a repair quote was for 927.16.this was represented as what was required to repair my truck. In fact, the repair was only 255.62, the remainder being for spark plugs I didn't need and had not been made aware over the phone were included. This means I was charged 671.54 in maintenance charges for a job I can do myself. If you subtract the 255.62 they refunded me, and allowing that as the repair cost, they not only did not do the repair at no cost but they still owe me 415.92 for maintenance work that was represented to me over the phone as repair work, and which I did not need.
